agree with you.
By percentage, PBB VS 6% more attractive.
By amount, WISE RM100 more attractive.

Depends on individual spending pattern, change the swipe strategy so we can earn highest rebate from banks.

if withdraw WISE, we can combine PBB VS + another 1 card (UOB ONE / CIMB Rebate / Maybank Ikhwan) to achieve  RM100 rebate.
*
You may explore PBB VS 6% + PBB VS supp 6%, then even more attractive

For those find difficult and high uncertainty in fulfilling the min RM2K spending better don't take risk. You might end up gain nothing. Better consider other CB card which can assure you getting the consistent amount of CB monthly. RM2K is a amount not easy and yet not too difficult to achieve (Depends on your spending pattern).

Most of the WISE categories can get cashback from other cards too.

So more 'worth' for the extra RM1k to be spent on those that normally cannot earn cashback (insurance is the big one, things like pharmacy, gym membership etc also).

This is, of course, assuming that you have RM1k of those sort of expenses.

The comparison is between spending RM2k within the categories (get 5%) and then that extra RM1k maybe get 0.2% or something.... or between spending RM1k within and the extra RM1k to get 5% and then the remaining RM1k which is within categories can cover with Ikhwan or Public Bank Visa Signature or similar to get 5+% also.

not trying to be very technical, but what you said earlier did not remotely mean that. therefore, it sounded very confusing.

Did any page in Hong Leong Bank website or any official terms and conditions (PDF document) mention about minimum annual income, needed to apply for Hong Leong WISE Platinum and Gold Credit Card?

Example:
Minimum annual income for Hong Leong WISE Gold Credit Card: RM 24000 per year

Minimum annual income for Hong Leong WISE Platinum Credit Card: RM 48000 per year

The values of annual income are just make-up numbers. I am asking this question, just for my information.

For sure, I have Hong Leong WISE Gold Credit Card, and is still considering whether to cancel it or not.

Dear all, I used to get rebate from utilities and mobile categories. If I cancel this card, could anyone share what is the best replacement cc? For petrol, the best rebates in market is only 5% right?
Thanks.

Wait and see what is the outcome as I still have a lot of excessive payment in this account.
According to forumers' feedback, the cash back still can be credited after card was cancelled.

So far many forumers here did share this scenario, the cash back can be credited into HLB another credit card account or saving/current account also.
