Why do you guys need to request new card? HLB sent me a new one despite my card expiry date was on January next year. They didnt even disable the old card before I activated the new one. And they will send you a SMS with a temporary PIN upon SMS activation that you can change online.

The pin entry is random or mandatory? Bought once in McD around RM30 no need enter anything. Then one time suddenly ask for pin for RM60 in the same McD

Previously spent 1K no complain. Now spent 2k a lot complain. Malaysian haihhh... all the while collecting RM100 monthly for the past 3 years, totally no complain.

Blame yourself that the benefits are gone. Swipe 985 to maximize cashback bla bla bla... banks are the most stingy. I have always said since they so generous give RM100 per month, just swipe few hundreds more for them. No need say effective cb lower because when it's gone, it's gone. You need sweetener, they also need sweetener.

I don't think hlb doesn't want you to earn the RM100 every month. It's just that they want more from you in return. There's no other card that will give RM100 a month regardless of the percentage of cash back.

Low spender swipe 3k monthly? If you can meet their 2k minimum, there's no reason to change except you're too cheap skate to even pay the AF. 1 card or 2 cards for RM100 monthly? I prefer 1 card.

Yapping again. Yeah, I liked wise card too. I'm one of the earliest to get my card. I don't really spent 2k every month on my card if you're wondering. However I will still keep it. There will be times when I do spent 2k or more and that's when I'm gonna benefits. I still keep my m2c too. 5x for air tickets whenever foreign workers return ticket or my boss wanna go china, although I'm mainly using it for a piece of free cake and a cup of ice lemon tea whenever I dine in secret recipe.

Bought half year shampoo and formula milk supply and reach 2k. Considering to cancel before my renewal in January unless can get waiver.

The rebate is just extra. The discounted price is good and formula milk price seem to increase every year.

When you bought for quite some time, you'll notice the price pattern and when it's very cheap. Beats any credit card cb. Besides price is going up every year. It's year end, the timing is just right. Just buy more now because there won't be any discount during cny period.
