Different ppl different requirements lo. Buy condo, mostly already got fully equipped kitchen, so only need to buy other furniture and electronics. 20k is 'enough' but then of course you can feel free to do hundreds of thousands of dollars if you want to 😬

Yes I heard from HR it's really bad now.
With EP cases going 2 months and no news.

It's a role with near P1 EP pay btw.

such a shame to me then. I think my company has submitted it early this week and told me to wait for a week or so. Seems like I need to wait longer than expected then.

Is it for S-Pass or E-Pass?
You can check status from the Pass Online site.
Just use your name and passport number.
Contact the HR see if they can call up and check
if any documents needed or anything.

Thanks. It's showing pending. The application was sent in on the 18th which is about 5 days now. Hopefully will know by next week. Btw, it's E-Pass. Will there by any big difference between E-Pass and S-Pass?

The only thing I notice is can't sign SingTel combo 3 and above . Others seem like same lol . For now .

Seems like the duration is quite random,
between 1 day to even 2 weeks.

Ep, my company had sent the application to Mom more than a month lol

There are too many reasons that can explain the possibility why is it taking so long,
including that your docs not sufficient, company didn't follow rules, not matching salary, worker ratio etc.
I'm sure you've checked the ep online site, What does it say?

Or you can communicate with the company HR and find out if anything can be done
to expedite the process. e.g. maybe ask them to call MOM nicely to check.

I am work pass holder. My application quite fast, just less than 1 week.
My salary is above 3k, so I prefer EP. But my HR said they have no quota.
But I thought only work permit and S-pass need quota?

No quota for EP. The HR that process your application could be Msian holding Work Pass as well. Not well verse with the ever changing MOM law

Anyway if already approved your Work Pass just accept it

Maybe she lie or the company cant get EP .

HR applied my EP on 14th july , approved on 19th July. Didn't even expect it to be so quick .

1) so, i planing to get a bus from BTS kl to sg, but i check the schedule as below:

Singapore - Boon Lay
Singapore - Jurong East
Singapore - Katong V
Singapore - Lavender
Singapore - Woodland

so, which area so i land??
after that how to get there, by bus, or MRT?

2) is that a possible 1 day trip (pigi balik), do i need to book online or i just need to ge to the station to direct buy??

3) bside, after interview, & i have to get back to malaysia, so when i buy the ticket, can use MYR ka?? or do i need to exchange SG dollar here bfore go there for interview??

4) let said the company wanna hire me, so, how do i find a room there?? any easy way?? (prefer sharing room, kuali life, work sleep work sleep...).

5) refer no 3, any cheaper room near that area. & what is the price?
