So monthly now take one time in the early month then in between if can Nets/Visa then I use. i'm wondering the standard waiting time for job offer (after interview)? if the firm does not respond to your follow up email regarding the status of application, what does it mean? should i keep on waiting for it? btw, fyi, i'm applying for audit firms.

I would suggest to wait for one week after the interview and follow up with a call. If after one week after the call still no news, then maybe then you can give up on it.

Morning all taikos,
I would like to ask what is the chances for us Malaysian to work in Singapore nowadays? After all the levy and etc....
I am from banking sales background (mostly), thinking to go SG work as banking back office support/customer services/ or other possibility.
Anyone of you got any advise for me this newbie?
Btw, i have a quick look through on the first page it is very informative. Thanks TS.

As you can see from responses in this thread, lots of Malaysians still getting jobs in SG. But for your target of banking back office ... very little chance. For starters, most banks are in the process of moving (or have already moved) BO roles to cheaper places. On top of that, BO entry level is unspecialized, so there's plenty of supply from local SC/SPR fresh grads. Same story with CS. It's not impossible, no harm trying, just want to set the right expectations.
