That's why I felt weird just now. AFAIK it can only be done at M'sia High Comm

Luckily S'pore is damn small. If at other big countries, sometime have to personally present at M'sia embassy which is located few time zones away

How many resumes exactly? I have instances where I have submitted at lease 2-300 emails/job application before I landed on a job. So how hard did you try?

Btw my landlord has a HDB unit he wants to rent out in Queenstown. Maybe can get around $2000 or slightly lower, nego a bit.

Anyone knows how i can setup 12 month GIRO to pay the IRAS income tax via internet banking?
Do i just setup monthly recurring transfers myself, at the tax total divided by 12?

Man I just got the letter today as well. A bit shocked how moving to another bracket changes the amount drastically. From the letter you received from IRAS, there's a column where you can tick "monthly". Send the form back to them and you're good

Cheers

For online banking, just log in to your bank account and setup GIRO from there. Once approved it'll automatically set up monthly deduction from the next month onwards.

I've a few questions, hope I can get some advice on it:-

1. How long does it usually take from EP application to IPA?

2. If you've signed / accepted the employment offer to start work in August but
have not yet even received the IPA, are you required to report for work using the
social pass?

3. I understand that it is illegal to work without EP or any other passes, but does
in-process of application count for anything?

4. What is a comfortable salary range for Malaysians working in SG? Is 4k acceptable?
I mean, without spending much on luxuries.

Btw, I've submitted almost 20+ resumes before landing this job recently.
Good luck to job-seekers out there!

Thanks! smile.gif
