Company submit all your details to MOM.

MOM will decide whether your application is approved.

Upon receiving IPA (in-principle approval), you will need to carry out body check.

Once body check done, go MOM do thumbprint then only you formally complete the EP process.

this body check has to be done in Singapore hospitals only? or do they recognize certain malaysia government/specific malaysia hospitals? otherwise, seems like need to spam so many flight trips down to do every stage of the application

once you have your IPA you can legally start work liao.

so it's you get IPA
then relocate to SG and start work
and in the first few weeks of working then go medical check up, convert IPA to EP card.

This IPA is like a temporary permit. Only valid for a period of time. Within this period of time, you must proceed with you the necessary action to obtain your EP.

I guess they're randomly spamming calls on all numbers, I got it on my house phone, and both my mobile numbers. My wife got it as well.

I got a call from AIA, in Mandarin as well but it's Sing type of Mandarin. I told her I'm not interested and she just said thank you and never call again. Not sure if this scam or not but "hey this is singapore, aren't companies' calls are expected in English??"

shouldn't be a problem. Just bring along passport, Malaysia IC and other documents.
IPA is "In-Principle-Agreement".
Just remember money in CASH.

You can register your number in the do not call list. Registration is simple and can be done here:

https://www.dnc.gov.sg/index.html

If you receive further unsolicited calls, you can tell the caller that it is an offence to call you since your number is on DNC. Dont have to entertain much.

Hi, like to ask, currently I'm renting a room in an hdb and I'm going to move out to a new room in another hdb.

What are the things I need to do/take note of, thanks.

Make sure you get your deposit back? And clean the room before you leave.

You consult the agent first he/she sure ask you don't move... You know why?? Their contract with the owner will stipulate if the tenant leave within "N" month(s) (normally 3), they have to find one new tenant for the owner.
*

depends on which agent
your agent is suppose to fight for your interest, not the owner's
