1. How long does it usually take from EP application to IPA?

2. If you've signed / accepted the employment offer to start work in August but
have not yet even received the IPA, are you required to report for work using the
social pass?

3. I understand that it is illegal to work without EP or any other passes, but does
in-process of application count for anything?

4. What is a comfortable salary range for Malaysians working in SG? Is 4k acceptable?
I mean, without spending much on luxuries.

I'm using citibank PM visa too for 3rd year now, but I doubt I have enough miles even for one person to go business class.

51k miles only cos there's 15% discount if you redeem online. Between 2miles/$ overseas (i.e. Malaysia) spend, 6-10 miles/$ Expedia/Agoda promos, and annual fee miles credits, the accrual rate is actually quite a bit quicker than one might expect.

But yes, having said that, you do need a decent level of expenditure to make it 'worthwhile,' otherwise better to go for a cash back card I guess.

Normally outside money changer remittance will gv u much better rate and no service charge if above certain amount, just save some money in ur ocbc360 , while earning good interest, and change it one lum sum with the money changer when it reaches tat amount.

I did not find anything about declaration or require something. However, the HR told me that once they receive the medical report, they will then issue the pass and I can start working.

They did not recommend me anything about which clinic to go and also say anything about the expenses. I have just sent them a mail asking about any recommendation and the expenses. Will wait and see what they say.

Do you know normally how long it takes for the report to be done?
