It seem Unifi has improved on their on site technical team.

I made my complaint today around 1pm and the technician came over around 330pm

The problem was solved within 3 hours. Thumbs up to them thumbup.gif

TM will replace the modem for you. Lifetime warranty provided the damage is NOT caused by you.

But in case your modem is replaced, better log in to your OCC account billing section after a few days. Check if there is an unbilled amount of RM500 (the amount you see may be different if you have other unbilled items, but having an unbilled amount of RM500 or so is abnormal for most subscribers).

It happened to me, somehow I am almost being billed for modem replacement, which is RM500 (excluding RM30 GST). If you see that, suggest you Tweet @TMConnects about this issue before it is charged to your bill. In my case, they resolved it within one to two weeks and the amount is waived in time before the next bill.

You need to set DNS for IPv6 as follows:

not just the basic channels, but one of the HyppTV packs (premium channels) that you have chosen.

Sure? I thought one can opt to un-subscribe to the premium channels after a certain period (not sure if it is after 12months or 24 months). can others confirm on this?

i located my C2600 on the middle of 1st floor. all corner of 1st floor manage to get full 100mb, on ground floor, middle of the ground floor manage to get full 100mb too, front and back of the ground floor can get around 60-80mb. My house build up size is 1200sqf x 2.

As for C5 i manage to get full 100mb on 1st floor, for ground floor i didndt test yet, but it sure better than Dir-850L, as Dir-850L cant get full 100mb on certain area on the 1st floor.

the wifi performance it all depend on your house layout. maybe for your case is different.

PS: tested with Samsung S6. my friend old iphone 5s cant even get 50mb on 1st floor, around 5m away with a wall in between the router.

Bought TP-LINK Archer AC2600, now ground floor manage to get full speed 100mpbs.

Good luck for that. TP-LINK routers do not have native IPV6 support. I not sure if they updated it.

Is IPV6 support really important for Unifi users?

Nope, it is always tied up to your HyppTV Advanced & Pro packages, although it appears as separate item in your bill.

The 1 year contract for HyppTV basically means if you terminate your UniFi service within the 1 year, you will need to pay the remaining subscription for your HyppTV (And of course RM500 for UniFi service termination)

I once used the WDR4300, the firmware actually does have IPv6 support. However, in UniFi mode it does not.
