QUOTE(lyrilmaki @ Aug 10 2016, 02:29 PM) The problem was TM don't want to do it. They insist to ask my management to do TALK TO YOUR MANAGEMENT. u paying maintainance fees probably need to get entite building tenant voice out.If they are the one doing it, the installation will be complete much more quicker.. Bloody servie wow |

Update : Installer just came in empty hand and laptop to use (try/test) the Archer C5, told them the issue is like wifi turned ON and connected to modem but it's just not loading eany content from the net...
What the thell they just use their phones to connect to me access point.....then call to their support (I believe 2nd tier) where will come again to check the wifi signal or router thoroughly.... |

QUOTE(zkteh @ Aug 13 2016, 11:24 PM) I received today (as a troubleshooting step to identify whether it's the HyppTV issue or Router issue, see my other post for more info) LolIt's working great! I love the TPLINK NAT Boost, it reduces bufferbloat, for more info : https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/sqm Hardware revision is V2 ![]() sadly this TPLINK ARCHER C5 V2 is based on Broadcom chips, thus we can't install any open source firmware like OpenWRT info : https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wdr7500 |

QUOTE(zkteh @ Aug 14 2016, 04:05 PM) I started using HyppTV from Aug 2014, seems no issue leh (not sure, long time liao) Did you have much stable connection with C5 especially switch Ing between 2.4 n 5ghz ? as for the UDP, If you are referring to packet loss, I think the result is worst than lagging.. ![]() refer: [video tearing | audio jerking ] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oz5GQxF6mmM screen tearing issue is okay as this is UDP, and normally only occurs once in a while, and only for 1sec. |

QUOTE(calvinlaw510 @ Aug 15 2016, 03:50 PM) The C5 tm gave is C5 v2, C5 v1 is mimo 3x3(3 external antenna) Qualcomm chipset, C5 v2 is mimo 2x2 (2 external antenna) Broadcomm chipset but dont know what model. Did you do any additional setting or play around with 2.4 n 5gh channel n bandwidth ?https://wikidevi.com/wiki/TP-LINK_Archer_C5_v1.x https://wikidevi.com/wiki/TP-LINK_Archer_C5_v2.x C5 v1 ranked no.1 in AC1200 category on smallnetbuilder website http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/tools/ranke...g/AC1200/rev8/6 Found it boot way slower than innatech n sometime certain apps from phone can't connect to internet... |

QUOTE(lyrilmaki @ Aug 17 2016, 01:07 PM) During installation, I asked the technician whether they have C5. i believed it more toward to the technician willingness. He say they only left DIR-850L model. It was batch by batch. It depends on what router TM gave them during that batch. Hopefully the technician sent over do have stock for Archer C5 I suspect my C5 got problem (or special setting require) ? I noticed it after couple of day it being swapped from innatech Then not so good experience where within 1.5 weeks i think at least 3-5 times i got to call 100 and each time being given another case ID number etc crap... told me level 2 tech guy (the guy that swapped me the C5 said so) but seem this person doesn't exist, no call whatever....even 100 told me got (whatever - highly believe 100 just messenger) anyhow the SAME guy that swap the C5 FINALLY called said his L2 friend MC/ No free (crap) BUT believed in order for him to close my case, he got to attend the case else 100 will keep send him report and i keep getting SMS to rate the service. First he told me he will come tomorrow to SWAP C5 to 850L Die die he said ok ok will bring another C5 tomorrow. Hope no flykite else i sure get back to 100 again |

QUOTE(Ultraman_Dyna @ Aug 20 2016, 03:00 PM) Hi everyone, your case very similar to my previous TP-Link Archer C5, about 3 weeks++ ago they replaced my RGX3220 to C5, for the following 1 week i was kinda of suffer 5GHz or both band wasn't able to work on/off (on certain apps only - which is BIG trouble)...on both my phone and TV. I just get my Unifi last week... Turns out they are dual bands 2.4G and 5G... For the first 2 days, every connection to both bands are fine... but after that my 5G band since has problem... Every device connected to it turns out no internet connection... But 2.4G still working fine.... My router is the unifi standard package which is RGX4400. Try to restart the modem and router a few times dy.... but 5G still not working... Any sifus here can here? Many Thank to u all.... JUST keep calling 100 until you manage likely the same so call tech guy to your place again with bring ANOTHER RGX4400 or better kut a C5 Now i got my 2nd C5 replaced 2 days ago...so far touch wood still ok EASIEST way to find out - RUN speedtest app from your phone...if it won't able to run mean something is not right. ** Lucky i still have my previous InnaTech with me as backup |
