QUOTE(jodi @ Sep 26 2007, 06:15 PM) Not affordable for me as well. RM3.2k? For IPhone, max I would go for would be RM2.2k. It comes with only 2.0MP camera and without 3G. Well, it's my personal opinion... The retain price of the phone is RM1,400. So the only amount above that you should pay is sales tax, customs, and reasonable transport costs. Otherwise you're just giving money away. |

Lets guess how much would they sell I phone in malaysia next time. 3k Above? I might as well give up now n buy HTC Touch
HOnestly im a bit sceptical bout puchasing it from US...though it will be very much Cheaper. The fact that, im not really good in tweaking phone, computer stuffs,, might get myself into troubles~ ho ho ho.. decision decision decision my friend back from US in Dec.. Mayb that time the I phone bought oredi is d updated version n cannot b unlocked one. If Msia selling it more expensive like rm 400-500 ..im willing to pay for it.. IF extra rm 1k is really not worth it. I think im very unlucky and most of my gadget (Mini o2, Canon Camera, etc) usually will require using its warranty one... juz my bad luck. |

QUOTE(wei @ Sep 26 2007, 05:16 AM) There should be a international support, this is a mobile device, you can't expect ppl to use it in US only. I havn't got mine, maybe those that have it should check with Apple Care call center regarding this. I don't really get u there, but I believe they will support it if the phone is not unlocked (as far as they know). Just restore into a virgin state and I think you'll be good. However, I doubt they will have any spare part for hardware component like say u broke the display and stuff. I assume the best they can do is they will contact Apple US and get it shipped to them or they will have to take ur phone and ship it there. Either way it's not as efficient as we would want. This thing is not available worldwide yet, so we can't expect too much out of it. |

i think they will ship it priority to USA, get it fixed and ship it back
fixing it here requires a local technician who knows how to fix it, remember? |

Most probably it will come here with an inflated price since it is illegal to lock the phone to a specific provider.

Yeah, I understand it's not worldwide, but at lease there is support (or should be) available anywhere with Apple store/ retailer. I'm saying this if the phone are in roaming with AT&T, not unlocked/hacked phones. |

Hi All.....sorry for 'jumping in'.Yasterday i got a chance to play around with an 8gb iphone in subang parade.Only 1 word 'SUPERB' but the price that i cannot 'tahan'.If i'm not mistaken it's RM3500... so far out of reach for most of us..( i think ).Maybe I need to start saving for 1...if anyone can bring in at around RM1700 to RM1800 that will be great......funny thing...i had a dream i got iphone of my own.........
