Ok i got this news maybe true and maybe not. I was browsing in lelong.com.my and saw this thread that sell unlock iphone for Rm 2999 for the 8GB package, and then at the bottom of the page, forummer can sms/call the seller and ask anything about the iphone prob such as the maxis call in prob. I msg him and ask everything about the iphone and all the problems that u guys had while using it and he says that the iphone is fully unlock where any telco network can be use and no problem or watsoever about the call in/sms in thingy. So i have the cash and i dont mind paying it but is it worth it if let say that they success solve the call in problem for maxis? Just wanna ask from u guys who already owner of an iphone..thanks!
P.S - The shop is in subang parade.

if u got friend that can bring it back here, why not! but must find people that can unlock ur iphone and use it here. I predict that if maxis can solve the call in problem, sure they hike up the price. thats my opinion.
Added on September 22, 2007, 5:28 pmbut there's no warranty la until it been released officially in malaysia.

ok in the ibrickr u have to restore the iphone to the original settings using the itunes right? but let say the iphone is the hack version where it can use other telco company besides AT&T. Will the restore method will terminate the hack program that already been installed in the iphone? If not i want to try the ibrickr but if it will spoil the hack in iphone, i better not to risk it.

yea MoNnY, the shop selling Rm2499 for 4GB and Rm2999 for 8Gb iphone, and then i talk to the shop staff and ask how much the iphone, and then he said that there different price for lelong customers and walk-in customers. And the he show me the receipt that walk-in customers buy and iphone for RM4500. That's crazy price i've seen so far. Plus, when i ask about the iphone, they said just left 2 for 4Gb and 6 for 8GB, they been selling like hot cake from morning. Wow plus he said that if the maxis call-in problem been fixed, the price can hike up till Rm4k. massive!

OmniAtlas, if u leave the network also, there millions other users out there, unless all the phone in malaysia is iphone then maybe its possible for them to take action asap and reducing customers to run to other network. haha!

QUOTE(wei @ Sep 24 2007, 04:26 PM) Well, as a service provider, I hope they know what they're doing. If they think I'm just one customer & don't give shit about it. Very well, they don't deserve my money. And to be sure, once I shift telco, it's gonna be a few line together (family & close friend). And it might affect more if the bad reputation spread out in my community. I agree too, service provider must think and overcome this kind of problem. Thinking 1 customers loss is no big deal but word spread so fast and soon or later, people will know the disadvantages. So more people thinking why subscribe the service provider where they can't deliver the service we need? As a consumer, we have the rights to take this issue up and let them know what's going on. Besides, isn't customers doing the service provider a service? This post has been edited by zekrycortez: Sep 25 2007, 04:21 PM
