could someone help me.. i am using compaq presario v3000 AMDx2 1.6 512DDR2 80GB hardisk Nvidia Go 6150.

it says that the graphic could share memory with the ram...but i couldn't find the option to change the share rate...ehhehe...if i am not mistaken...rite now it is using 64MB of my ram...how could i increase it...?or i can't..??

i've been searching it at bios...but there is nothing...it just says that maximun share memory is 256MB but there are no option 2 adjust...help...

I also having the same problem. I think the bios has locked the memory adjusting function. sad.gif sad.gif

you cant adjust hyper memory. most laptops are like that if im not mistaken. it will only increease once you have added ram :]

uhmm correct me if im wrong.i read from somewhere that the graphic uses RAM according to it's needs.i mean it automatically takes up your RAM depending on what ur doin.correct me if im wrong. sweat.gif

LOL! that's the most cool feature on the lappie i'd say, wakakaka touch sensitive quick launch buttons...even my friends who are on fujitsu was also glued and impress to the touch sensitive buttons...

Hello people, I just bought a Kingston 512MB DDR2 667 RAM for my 3133. After I plugged it in, the laptop can't boot. I tried single module also can't boot. But the HP ram (hynix chipset) works fine. The kingston ram is Kingston relabelled chipset. Is it RAM issue?

definately the RAM issue. take it back to the shop and ask them to test their RAMs until u are satisfied that u can run everything normally on your laptop.

mine i bought 2gb kit, also kingston value ram. the first 2 kits were having problems with my dvd-rw drive, causing problems with the reading and burning of cds...the third time got the some kind of china chips, then ok already...

Hi Friends !

Need URGENT help ! Can any one tell me how long the V3133 battery lasts ? i have a new 3133 (a week old) and it gets over in 1 hour with out any major application running! I am leaving malaysia tomarrow , if it is a problem i will have to contact the customer care b4 i leave.

i'm not a compaq user yet..
but i currently thinking to buy a labtop..
i have two labtop in my mind now..
one is benq s73 and this compaq..
which one would u recommand me?..
i wondering why many user here chose 3133 which is freedos..
but not 3166?..
it's there any reason?...
and upgrading to 2gb ram.. cost how much?..

Hi i just sent my V3119 to hp service center johor jaya.
because play dota everytime until half game automatically jumped up to windows, blue screen, windows not stable and always hanged, they told i didnt install "sata driver for hardisk",tats y the problem occur. i need external floppy disk when format to install it. There is no such thing "sata driver " right? frustrated! cheated by hp service center vmad.gif
