Better there make sure. I didn't make sure but I asked. Banker told everything can do...but ended up like me now...when want transfer, cannot transfer...

Without debit card/bankcard you can only do ibg transfer not instant transfer. Some people dont mind doing transfer that require +- 2 days only to fulfill the criteria for the dividend and can skip the rm8 annual fees. But cc need rm25 for sst.

When I check with the officer during my acc opening, she said can do IBFT even without debit card.. but I’m doubtful on her info since I get the details from sifu here.. Info from lowyat forum is always much better than bank officer..

I had existing ocbc account and my debit card/ATM card was kena fraud, cancelled over phone and I never bother go to branch for reissue.

When I went ocbc branch to open my 360 account, basically all new.

Then come on my online banking part, I had the "force saving" plan in online banking, lucky I was still at the branch, trying to wait for my old account fund transfer to 360 acc, but it's not happening. Then I complaint why fund not yet transfer ?

Only then the banker check with cashier found out I need to cash out my force saving plan only then can officially close my old account and transfer all fund to 360 acc.

Sometimes when we take thing for granted, shit happened! Better double confirm all in order before leave bank.

DuitNow works with or without ATM card. It is instant anyway.

The fact that, when your account not setup properly, you cannot do any transfer including duitnow. of coz you can transfer into that account via duitnow. Its 2 different thing.

So, will duitnow fulfill the 3 bill payment requirement for the bonus interest?

My account was setup properly I guess, but without ATM card because I choose not to change the ATM card into debit card. To do that, I would need to visit a branch, find parking, take number, queue, etc.. you get my point.

For my account, I can transfer via DuitNow in and out without any issues.

Never tried. I IBG to my Credit cards since all of it are future dated.

Im not sure what was the arrangement between you and the banker. But im ok with just ibg albeit a bit slow.

Call me kampung minded. But im not confident with bank transaction that uses mobile phone number. I feel macam it is not secured.

Why not just keep all your money under your bed?



DuitNow also works with IC numbers.
I tie my OCBC to IC number and another bank with Phone number.
I can DuitNow in and out without issue.

Don't keep money under your bed. Keep gold instead, because your money not ant proof and water proof.🤗

Like my case, banker tag my debit card to 360 but no tag my online banking to 360. So..not able to online transfer out, just can view balance.

Anyway, its just 1st time setting up account. After that, no problem. Its bank security measurement as told.

I’ve no idea too.. I’m waiting for my credit card to get the online banking access.. will report back whether I can do IBFT..

I like to know too. majorarmstrong any idea on duitnow also calculated as 3 bill payments criteria?

BTW, my 360 can transfer out already after cs update at their site.

Duitnow qualifies for the bonus interest. tried it last month when I first got my 360 account.
