hi guys,

im new to Maxis Wireless Broadband. I juz subscribe to the RM68* package. It comes with a B932 Wireless Modem.

I tested today with my pc alone using RJ45 connection ... Satisfied with the HSDPA connection speed but not the signal.

My real problem arise when I try to connect the modem to the router so i can split the connection between my housemates. But when i tried to uses these setting ... i cant even connect to the internet or even the modem setting site (192.168.1.1)

As soon as i reset to the normal 1 to 1 setting ... it works

So I hope anyone who had experience this problem, plz advise me !!! THX THX THX !!!

Now they already apply Limit 3GB Data per month without informing subscriber. My connection keep DC and downloading fluctuating and sometime no Data Transferred at all. I already made report to them since 5th May 2009 and follow with SKMM report on 04-06-2009. Until now there is no one in Maxis call me regarding the issue. My friend from JB also kena the same thing, WTF Maxshit Berukband now days. Im using Multi Sim + E220 with unet package.

- Now average 120kBps
- Since speed very fast dunno what else to download...lol

although im in WBB and waiting to change 3G unlimited.......and my avg now 510kbps...

Didn't u read my APN setting? Mine is unet and not maxisbb.

Klang. Previously my average data per month 200GB. Problem start from early MAY 2009.

How did you diagnose the problem because of 3GB FUP?
It could be the connection problem right?
Please enlighten me because I'm now testing this Maxis package, if nothing happens I'll be a user soon.

Ok here we goes, i had 2 Huwei E220 (Maxshit Berukband and Vodafone). Both of them being tested with the Different network Connection Type in Full Bar Signal ie. GPRS prefered, 3G Preferered and 3G only. Result came out also same thing. Line keep fluctuating and speed down from 2300kbps to 500kbps. Source of downloading from Rapidshare, Streaming U Tube and FTPing. I also did test with my HTC HD for single line and using Internet sharing connection through my lappy. Same thing also. I dont thing this is a connection problem.

Last night 4.30am also i made a call to 123 and refering to my case report no. C5xxxxxx and the guy also mention that the Technical Department already go to the nearest station and do some maintenance work (I don't believed so) and the problem still no improvement at all. I've being using this from the day 1 Maxis launch his Maxshit Berukband (Unlimited Data Package) and never face this kind of problem. If the problem still persists sure i will surrender it back to them.

did u test at other area...mine seems no prob....n no capped

Last week during my holiday from KL to LANGKAWI. All my pit stop area (Ipoh, Kuala Kangsar, Sg Petani, Langkawi etc) tested with HSDPA connection SAMA SAHAJA. Kl area pun SAMA.

Ur seem not exceed the Limit, once hit sure KENA one.

today usage just reachd almost 4G...

No problem on my side too, just that it is slower during nights time because of the peak hours. I can understand that. Else my direct download exceeds 100kB/s.

What is your average download speed using rapidshare rite now?

maybe because of technical error/maintenance like they said, my mbb like tat also, the connection is unstable and when i called them, they said doing maintenance in my area (kota kemuning).

but mine is maxisbb, not yet to maxis3g. although maxis3g do have certain problem, it probably better than maxisbb..rite?
