I am currently using the maxis WBB. Can I change it to 3g unlimited plan? if so, how?

Do I need to go to the service centre?

Let me explain more if you guys are comfusing about the plan. Last two days ago I subscribed Maxis 3G unlimited without voice plan(data plan only) for RM99/mth, but you need to put RM100 upfront as depsoit. They'll give you another new sim card which's only for data, you have to pay RM15/mth if you want additional sim card.

if we surf on fon, will this settings be auto installed if we asked installation fr maxis thr sms?

i check all my multisim 1 line simcards.

all RM 0.... so that confirm no pay-per-use charges on all my multisim 1 line.

i check my online e-billing for unbilled balance, it's the same...
at each tab of my unique multisim 1 line sims (main,secondary & tertiary), i check at value added service of RM99 data unlimited been ticked/checked only at the main sim, but not at the secondary & tertiary sims....

hmm...i yet to receive the physical bill...

but i already triple confirm with the customer service at the point of registration/application of this service (multisim 1 line) at maxis centre,klcc. She said the feature of multisim 1 line is to duplicate whatever the capabilities of main sim with the fee of rm15 per sim per month. No additional charge will be imposed to the secondary sim & so on...

At the point of registration, i also asked her to tabulate the monthly charges i should been imposed.. 99+15+15+5%tax... i also stressed that if i been imposed by any pay-per-use charge on data on any of the simcards, I wont pay for it...she agreed..

haha....how forceful I am...

if something goes wrong on my first bill, I wont pay for it because I have been advised wrongly by their customer service at the point of registration, maxis centre klcc... 

i check unbilled statement/balance for all simcards... its RM 0.00... pay-per-use should be considered as unbilled right ?

lol..Actually this happened to me when I went to Maxis Centre to subscribe. Went to the counter, I told the guy I wanted to subscribe to Maxis 3G Unlimited Data without Voice...they guy looked dumbfounded...lol..I repeated myself and then he went off to seek advice from his supervisor. When submitting my details to the system, the supervisor was standing right beside him telling which buttons to press 

i just went to maxis at klcc. the maxis guy over there said multi-sim 1 line only work if u activate it individually. this applies for both voice and data

i wonder how do u guys use 3.5g at the same time for all sim cards. is there any tricks?

Just get a call from Maxis operative she mention that for multi sim 1 line just the primary need to be activated and the secondary will enjoy the privillege of the 1st sim card. The RM 254 was billed to me was the period when the system got problem which late activated for my services. She mention that i don't need to pay that amount and it will be waive from my billing. So i am safe now. I think MCMC already attended the complaint that i have made.

So confirm guys just pay extra RM 15 per sim card for data usage hehehe i want to add another sim card next month for my wife

Ok here we goes, i had 2 Huwei E220 (Maxshit Berukband and Vodafone). Both of them being tested with the Different network Connection Type in Full Bar Signal ie. GPRS prefered, 3G Preferered and 3G only. Result came out also same thing. Line keep fluctuating and speed down from 2300kbps to 500kbps. Source of downloading from Rapidshare, Streaming U Tube and FTPing. I also did test with my HTC HD for single line and using Internet sharing connection through my lappy. Same thing also. I dont thing this is a connection problem.

Last night 4.30am also i made a call to 123 and refering to my case report no. C5xxxxxx and the guy also mention that the Technical Department already go to the nearest station and do some maintenance work (I don't believed so) and the problem still no improvement at all. I've being using this from the day 1 Maxis launch his Maxshit Berukband (Unlimited Data Package) and never face this kind of problem. If the problem still persists sure i will surrender it back to them.

Last week during my holiday from KL to LANGKAWI. All my pit stop area (Ipoh, Kuala Kangsar, Sg Petani, Langkawi etc) tested with HSDPA connection SAMA SAHAJA. Kl area pun SAMA.

Ur seem not exceed the Limit, once hit sure KENA one.

can we logon to maxis site to chk the usage of our account?

if yes, could some good ppl pls link me to tat site cause i REALLY wan to see wat is my usage b4 any "further damage" happen to my account

I use this Maxis 3g but i cant connect to AT&T VPN. It give me an error as below:-



FYI, I use the huawei E156 modem.. I can connect it using my fren modem, the bulky one. So I believe it has something to do with the modem, rather than the line it self..

Any help is much appreciated.

i subscribed to the one number multi sim ( one secondary sim only so far, total 2 sims going on9 , both sims speed is good)

my primary sim was charged rm29.00 for GPRS service usage
my secondary sim hav 2 items billed , "Data Service" rm15.00 and "multi-sim 1 Line" rm15.00, total rm30.00

so total charged rm29+rm15+rm15 = rm59.00

my questions
1) is this normal for the secondary sim to be charged rm15 for data and rm15 for multi-sim, total rm30?
2) why is the first sim charged as "GPRS Service"

moreover i cannot chk my bill thr e-billing although i received the T-Pin thr one of the sim

I just bought a zte mf622 and it worked with maxis 3g sim

before this i try maxis 3g sim with my maxisbb modem (the e220) and it worked.

imo all unlocked usb modem/maxis usb modem can just need to do some changes in setting
thnx for ibnuasad for telling me how to set the network. 

i bought the same modem like yours but i failed to make it works with my maxis 3g sim. I dont know what's the problem over there.
