Disconnection happens to me quite frequently, but what really annoys are the no traffic once connected more than 30mins (even during software updating/dl), refresh won't help, need to disconnect and re-connect or else just 0kbps for both dl/ul but the line is still connecting vmad.gif

I used mostly E220 sometimes moto H/P V3xx and even E156G but all have same symptom, so I think not cause by modem.

DC & Slow browsing depends on your area. If got good signal and no network congestion...can *fly* very fast one smile.gif

The promo in the pic is for Maxis Wireless Broadband. This thread is for Maxis 3G Data / Maxis Mobile Internet

As whether it is safe to subscribe...it depends. If your area has 3G and you are confident that your area has very little Maxis users...go ahead and subscribe icon_rolleyes.gif

For more info about Maxis 3G Data, take a look at Post #173 and Post #174

I have asked before and most of your questions were answered here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry24338335 and http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&#entry24338401

I didn't ask about the shared IP only, maybe they are using shared IP just like other providers? hmm.gif

Not necessary to be tied with a voice plan.
Yes, no FUP for this plan, it is not wireless broadband.

How do you know it got disconnected? Did you go to the 192.168.0.1 and check the "Connection Status"?

For me, the only hickup so far is that whenever I start downloading with a DL Manager, sometimes the connection will lag/stuck for about 30 seconds - 1 minute...even though the connection status at 192.168.0.1 is "Connected".
