you need to understand the target market.for existing iPhone 5/5S users and new iPhone users to be who don't want a bigger screen.the market is saturated with bigger screen smartphones.u really can't find a 4" screen smartphone with good specs like this SE.

First  iOS handle differently compared to Android.Android is Java based.Need a VM and garbage collectore mechanism.The more buffer u have aka the RAM, the better.

However, iOS don't need that for now.

Personally I like 6/6s design better...

And also they know that they are also selling their brand, many people buy just to flaunt... 5s SE same design 

6/S design is harder for people to grip to the bare body itself, forcing people to actually buy casings and whatnots.

5/S were nice square not really rounded sides that makes holding much easier

Did not see any thread on the SE yet so here it is. What are your thoughts on the new SE? I'm definitely VERY attracted by the price!

TLDR version:
It is an iPhone 5S with all the internals (A9, M9, 12MP, NFC for Apple Pay, etc.) of the 6S minus Touch ID.
It will start at $399 for the 16GB variant and cost $499 for the 64GB variant.
There will be 4 colors (black, silver, gold, pink).
Preorders start on the 24th with shipping starting on the 31st of March. Malaysia will probably get it by end of May 2016.

Yea. 6s naked is damn slippery because of the edges.

Btw, i think this 5se will sell well. Not everybody likes a big screen.

I will downgrade from 6 to SE if RAM is 2GB.

im gonna get the 64gb version....simply love the form factor.....prefer this over the ip6 or those with larger screens

Same here! Been using my 5 since Jan 2013. It looks almost brand new. Dropped a few times but while in it's case so it never scratched. Had to change the battery last year because it started swelling but I love the design so much that I refuse to get the 6 series.

Still waiting for teardown. Need to know how much RAM inside. If same as 5S, forget it. Phone sure lag like 5S with latest iOS.

Just as powerful as the 6S but left out the extra GB of RAM. I suffered on the 6+ with only 1GB of RAM so no thanks.

Probably getting one for my mum next month. She's still on the iPhone 5 (my old phone) and wasn't too keen on the bigger iPhones. Now I just need to confirm what colour she wants - Karaoke Hostess Gold or Teenage Tramp Pink.

For now it confirmed comes with 2gb of ram by using performance app.
