1) You can buy the unlocked version but need to pay full price $399/$499. Can use any sim card

2) Warranty is valid in USA only

Other issues: Might not be compatible with Malaysia LTE

Things like swollen battery can be claimed from other Apple stores. Not sure about Malaysia cause we don't have Genius bar but my iPhone 5 replacement is from Australia. Bought the phone from Digi Malaysia then went Australia and that time battery swollen so went to Apple store and got phone replacement.

I think the $499 price is without tax as well.

But demand on 6 and above..
Quite hard to get 5s casing now unless old/clearances stock.. But now since got se then there will be new casing later.. Most shop cut off the casing stock for 5s and below unless old stock..

Can't wait to get my SE tomorrow smile.gif I find the Digi plan to not be worth it compared to my Umobile U28 plan so prefer to get it outright.

Anyone interested in Spigen Glas.TR tempered glass screen protectors? Have 2 extra.

I was thinking RM 100 each, free PosLaju and back protector. If COD in a not so dusty/dirty place, I can help install as well.

The package included back glass?

No bro, Spigen has no back glass. I got a pack of cheap German plastic screen protectors so I can include them because I only need 1.

I have been and iphone user for the past 3.5 years and Ipad user since the very first iPad.  I like the iOS platform and have been a very loyal fan to Apple.  But recently I have change my mind towards Apple.  I find that Apple products is getting more and more expensive to own.  The very first iPad one was considered a breakthrough product and it's pricing was really great at RM1699 for the base model.  A revolutionary product at great price.  Compare to the latest iPad Pro 9.7" which Apple raise the retail price to RM2699.  Apple has been keeping the price the same for all previous iPad but then decided to raise the price for iPad pro which is ridiculous.

Back in 2011, the iPhone 4 16GB retail for RM2190 but the iPhone 6S retail for RM3199.  For the 6S Plus its even more.  Yes, we did see some currency but in reality APPle just becomes too greedy.

I don't think I will be buying another Apple iphone anymore.  The reason is because its too expensive and also Android is getting better and better now.  There is a lot of phone for half or 1/3 of the price of iPhone that basically is good enough for all my needs.

And for the SE, i think its way overprice too.  Yes, its a fast phone but the screen size of 4" is just to yesteryear.  You can easily get a decent 5" phone that is a lot more useful than the SE for half the price.

I am wondering why are we still supporting Apple which in fact we should be embracing Google.  Google give everything to us for free.  Gmail, Waze, Google Maps, Youtube, etc.

Anyway, that is just my opinion.

Google engineers also use iPhones as their personal phones. I met the lead engineer for Google Maps from Google Sydney and we had a nice chat about Clear (really good iOS only reminder list app) and his iPhone 4/4s. All the Google engineers had a Nexus 5 work phone. I also always get comments like this: "You are a software engineer/programmer/work in IT, why don't you use Android??" rolleyes.gif I also have colleagues who use both and like both.

So bottom line is, it's a free world, go buy what you like smile.gif
