still waiting & thinking, whether to downgrade to SE or maintain 6..

I'm actually at crossroads like many here, whether it's worth to get a 5SE or straight get a 6S. My Ip4 is getting very slow lately and it's irritating.

My thought is like this, if i pay Rm3.6k for 6S, can it stand another 5 years? My Ip4 is 5.5 years now and it's working fine except it's lagging.

If i get 5SE for Rm2.6k, sounds more valuable unless Machines comes back with the Rm500 discount.

Iphone 5S is being sold for RM1.4k now at direct d but i think it will get slow in another 1-2 years.

I still need to think more

SE is just an update for the 4-inch iPhone and not a brand new iPhone as an iPhone 7. So nothing to hype about, hence no q lor I guess. My wife uses a 5S, so bought one for her la. With 2GB Ram, I think it's a good buy.

actually, there are more than just "megapixels" if you are looking to upgrade your phone's camera and let me tell you this, if your sole purpose into buying the SE is because you wanted the 12MP camera then scrap it. It's not going to worth your money.

honestly, a bump from 8MP to 12MP isn't going to make a huge difference in respect of picture quality if you are only viewing it through the 4" screen. the sensors and aperture remains the same so technically, you're investing RM2.4k for just an increase of 4 points in MPS. it averages about RM600.00 per per MPs

the reason why Apple releases the SE is because they wanted to bring their latest into the form factor of what the people considered as their favorite iPhone design of all time, in a bid to secure back their lost market shares in the smartphone industry. It's not a new iPhone.

so, if you pay no heed to any other features of the SE then my advice is, save the money.

16gb is a waste of time.

if i plan to buy a 16GB one, and just install the main apps i use daily/frequently: whatsapp, waze, instagram, and vsco, do you think 16GB is okay? (i still can use my current phone, and other apps will be there)

i dont store music (have an ipod for that) and play games on my phone. the only concern i have is that i'm scared the future ios updates would take up a lot of space 

I did complain one time loong time ago regarding the yellow hue on the retina display. That time was at KLCC. Infact all the phones are like that after ip4s. If overall dispay got yellow not so much issue, its just some units do have defects at the corners i.e., the corners have like shadow.. Can test with one colour background. this one is real issue, apple will replace no problem. If yellow screen, i think its more product already like that...

anyone using Spigen Ultra Hybrid case? the ultra clear 1.. i wonder will it get yellow after using for a while..

any better suggest for transparent clear type casing?
