Did not see any thread on the SE yet so here it is. What are your thoughts on the new SE? I'm definitely VERY attracted by the price!

TLDR version:
It is an iPhone 5S with all the internals (A9, M9, 12MP, NFC for Apple Pay, etc.) of the 6S minus Touch ID.
It will start at $399 for the 16GB variant and cost $499 for the 64GB variant.
There will be 4 colors (black, silver, gold, pink).
Preorders start on the 24th with shipping starting on the 31st of March. Malaysia will probably get it by end of May 2016.

And will it get custom charge tax?

Unless you live in J.B, in which case it's probably better you make the trip back to SG for warranty claims. Beats the heck out of talking to Machines, Mac City or incompetent telco staff here in J.B who don't seem to know anything after they sell you the product.

Ok, sold my RN3, am ready for Iphone SE. This everning, meet with iphone seller, she said "what so great about SE, not much differ than 5s".. apparently she's delivering 5s to buyers. Asked her how much 5s would be, she said depend on color, gold would be 1290, it's new. Hard to believe she got brand new 5s these days. I bet it's refurbished, claimed as new, coz she's defending theres no problem with refurbished, everything is good as new.

Price for DIGi is quite attractive.

Just installed iOS 10 beta GM edition. Been running it for a day +. Amazed with the smoothness and it seems to be very stable. A great update for the SE.
