I was trying to apply online and somehow got rejected. A week later someone with xxx@maybank.com contacted me asking me to manually apply with them through email.

I am wondering if this xxx@maybank.com is one of their official email or scam email? Anyone got experience this before? It is not their usual yyy@maybank.com.my domain.

is it mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my?
this is the email CS provided to me when i called to ask for reason of rejection.

Nope. For example mohamad.ali@maybank.com. it is without the .my

Maybe i can write to mbbcardservices to clarify.

definitely a scam email.

why not drop by a branch or mbb card center like gardens or mv to chk. Usually, if rejected by system, you'll need to wait 3 months to resubmit unless they ask for supplementary documents to strengthen your case.

Wahlauh, the scam fella is so effective now huh.

Btw, bank do tell why they reject your cc application?

As far as I know, recently, Maybank dropped the .my so that emails (at least the person whom I wrote to) ends with .com only. Don't quote me on that.

Petrol now can earn 5x TP (for petrol transaction below RM300)

Freaking good news! But not very clear on the rm300. Does it mean as long as any single pump less than 300 will earn 5x?

For transactions above RM300, Cardmembers will receive 1X TreatsPoints for every RM1 spend.

wat i understand, TRANSACTIONS mean multiple transaction, then total petrol per month pump below RM300 get 5x TP, over get 1x TP

in premier2card it means >10% for me, depending on how you use your miles.

M2c no more useful.

if u compare cash value, its approx 1.25%, however these cards worth more than that to us.

Maybe this question was answered before. I tried to search through the thread but couldn't find an answer for this.

Question: I currently have say 300k treatpoints earned from other MBB cards. If I get Maybank 2 Cards Premier, will I be able to convert the whole 300k points to airmiles at the Maybank 2 Cards Premier's lower 4,770 TP to 1,000 miles conversion rate? Thanks.
