Saw this statement in their Maybank 2 Cards Premier page. The link is not working as of now.
"Kindly be informed that effective 15 April 2016, Maybank will be revising the TreatsPoints earning. Click here for more info."
I think they are going to cut down or take out point earnings for certain spending categories like what they did on other cards recently.

QUOTE(Yippie123 @ Mar 16 2016, 05:19 PM) I dont understand the tick and cross ... Haha. Tick means you will earn that points, but Cross? You will earn no points or no change in existing earning ??? Comeon Maybank...... Is not rocket science. Cross means you will earn no point from that category anymore.

QUOTE(laymank @ Mar 17 2016, 12:12 PM) local insurance and overseas insurance will still be insurance. Local hotel and overseas hotel will still be hotel. Foreign spending is when you swipe physically at foreign country in foreign currency. I think better to call CS to confirm. As I know, as long as u charge non-MYR, then it's considered as foreign spending. Overseas insurance is considered as insurance. But, I can also say that oversea insurance is considered overseas ma. :-)

QUOTE(jtl @ Mar 29 2016, 10:54 AM) Just curious, why would you need a VI standalone if you already have the Premier? Are the benefits different? It gives you another 5x separate entries to PPL.

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Apr 1 2016, 01:24 PM) both card earn 5x TPs for oversea transaction.. since your might fall under education..might be only 2x TP if use VI while AMEX only 1x TP.. anyway should use VI since lower exchange rate compare to AMEX.. I think Amex is 2x for education, while VI still 5x for overseas trx. The TP revision to 1x for edu only take effect from 15-Apr onwards.

QUOTE(alex_leo @ Apr 18 2016, 11:19 AM) What does it mean by EPP in the chart? EPP means installment plan. Example, u buy a handphone & take 24 months 0% EPP. The purchase amount only entitled to 1x point, not 2x.

QUOTE(David900924 @ May 28 2016, 06:10 AM) Guys, about the annual waiver after hit spending. They only charge after nearly end of your annivesary year, is it true? And what if cancel before anniversary, need pay? I think u don't really need to worry about when it will be charged bcoz even it has been charged, when u call to cancel, the annual fee will be reversed.

QUOTE(Jeof @ Jun 1 2016, 08:08 PM) Visa card spent locally will be 1 tp RM1 No, it's 2TP for RM1 spent locally & 5TP for RM1 spend overseas. So, local spend is eq to ~1 mile per RM2.5 spent. This post has been edited by kelvintt: Jun 1 2016, 08:17 PM

QUOTE(peigeng @ Jun 1 2016, 08:22 PM) this make me abit confused bro as some say is 1x and u said 2x 1xTP is for M2C Platinum/Gold. For M2C Premier which come with Visa Infinite, it's 2xTP (except insurance, utilities that earns 1xTP, gov 0xTP).
