QUOTE(Wongchoy @ Mar 16 2016, 08:58 PM) Tell you all an open secret. HLB VI is now a good card for those who are affected by the latest MBB fiasco! i think MBB know their game and is pushing the limit, well how many % of your spending are affected? I would say mine is less than 10%.Their conversion to miles is still the best, though i really don't know how long more this will last judging by the rate they are reducing the benefit This post has been edited by bearbear: Mar 16 2016, 10:36 PM |

QUOTE(Yippie123 @ Mar 18 2016, 06:56 PM) Honestly they didnt mention M2P into their table. Even those card thats affected, there are some with Cross to it that i assumed they mean no changes... There is another table with all the premium cards. All are affected. You are safe to use until they revise the table. Thanks to those who computed the table. LOL I will apply for KF amex this weekend. I almost hit the spending required for the premier 2 cards 4 months into my 2nd year. I guess the amex Reserve can keep in cold storage liao |

I tried to apply standalone VI at KLCC today and the customer service tol me that she is not sure if it can be done as I already have one with my M2Premier.
I insist it can be done thus it was submitted and will wait to hear from them. have to say I am disappointed with KLCC branch, I was given a number and the counter that service me told me she cant do anything as I am existing user. had to wait again and total of 30 mins of queue. I visitted 1U outlet many times and never wait for.more than 10 mins |

QUOTE(diablo2 @ Mar 29 2016, 07:00 PM) Also separate annual minimum spend requirements for fee waiver, RM80K for M2Premier and RM50K for the standalone VI. get another standalone VI or another pair of M2Premier thenMaybank refused to waive the annual fee for my Maybank VS though my spending on M2Premier alone was in excess of the minimum spend for both cards combined. And with all the reduction in benefits, it was a no brainer to cancel the VS. |
