There is no SC upgrade for this. You can buy headlights and tail lights from China but quality is umknown.

anyone has their SCBS activated before? i tried a few times where i'm danger close to a car in front of me and SCBS doesn't activate, it was so close that i almost cannot see the rear bumper of the car already, but of course i was able to hit the brake so no collision happened

i tried before under 30 km/h and under 25 km/h and the SCBS doesn't activate at all

and while driving i noticed some strange behavior with the car, not sure it is normal or not
- when i'm coasting slowly and once the speed dropped to 30km/h or lower, i can feel the car is trying to stop itself, is like changing from 2nd gear to 1st gear similar to engine braking

- when i press the brake pedal, i can hear some hydraulic hissing sound hmm.gif and when i try to press the brake pedal 100% i can feel there are some stopping point in the middle, the action is not smooth

is this 2 behavior an intended design? hmm.gif

Was curious about SCBS too until i use SmartTag at tolls. Most of the time SCBS kicked in right before the barrier goes up. Initially i thought something was wrong with the brakes until i saw the SCBS indicator flashing.

That's my experience too. When I hold the tag under the rear view mirror it scan twice then open the barrier. There is a small gap in the tinting film where where the mirror holder is. Holding the tag where there is no gap does not open majority of the time.

Thanks for your feedback.

do u have the 8" black part for your windscreen tinting, u can ask them to cut a small opening there, then u can either stick ur smarttag there or put it in that position

I can think of 3 methods :
1) Bring the item to the car spray shop, they'll do it for your at a price, could be around RM200-300. They'll settle the paint portion as these people in trade know the colour code and source the paint for you.

2) Buy those 2k spray paint from the automotive garage sale section and DIY. You can ask the seller for more details.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...931&hl=2k+spray

3) Go do a plastidip or sticker film. No need to match colour and in fact, let the component stand out. Maybe carbon fibre pattern sticker will be nice. Not sure about the pricing for this option rclxms.gif

In the end of the day, it is all about $$$. You can pay, sure can do de.....

Hi guys.

I installed a 6mm tint. Normally when I wind up and down its damn smooth and no noise.

Today after I wash my car, I wind it down and when going up it squeals loudly and the window is wet. Presumably some water is inside the car door. Anyone have the same issue? I feel like my window motor won't last long lol

should be 6mil, not 6mm laugh.gif

mine is 7mil but dont have problem winding the window after car wash, but i do noticed that when i wind down the window i can see the dashboard is moving is very loose shocking.gif

just now when i was cleaning the windscreen inside my car i noticed the sensor housing behind the rear view mirror is very loose also, not having rattling sound but when i press it it will move, is it all cars also the same?

latest is CX-3 and M6 facelift laugh.gif

M6 is wider and longer, and 2.5L is more powerful with 250Nm torque instead of 200Nm torque on the 2.0L

but of course there is a very big difference in price

Hi, as requested, here is a step by step guide on how to install Cast Screen V2 (Wifi enabled):

CASTSCREEN V2.0

1.   Download files here and extract file.
2.   Reformat your <8GB USB 2.0 to FAT32 format and insert all 5 items from the folder (DOES NOT WORK ON MAC).
3.   Your USB should only show 5 items; make sure you didn't copy the folder itself but the CONTENTS in it like config folder, etc etc tweaks.sh.
4.   Start your car without depressing the pedal. Your engine start button should glow amber. Your car is now in accessory mode.
5.   Insert thumbdrive and wait for dialog box to pop up to initiate install. It should take >2 minutes.
6.   Your install should automatically boot your system once it is complete; if it doesn't you can boot manually: NAV + MUTE and hold for 10 seconds.
7.   Download files here and install the apk on your Android V5 and above.
8.   Enable USB debug mode: SETTINGS > ABOUT DEVICE > ANDROID VERSION > TAP ON IT REPEATEDLY UNTIL YOU ENABLE DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
9.   DEVELOPER OPTIONS > USB DEBUGGING > ENABLE.
10. Connect your Android to your car using a DATA ENABLED cable. To check if your cable is data enabled, connect your phone to a computer using the
cable. If it is data enabled, you should be able to access your phone contents via your computer. If it does not, it should only charge your phone and
nothing else. Most cables that come from powerbanks are NOT data enabled. (Pineng etc.)
11. Choose these settings: H264, 800x600@160, 1 Mbps, input 127.0.0.1 (Or your own car IP address) and press input receiver.
12. Tap Start on right-up corner and it should work.
13. You can install this version over your older one.

Please remember to use at your own risk, wrong use can possibly brick your entertainment system!

Exactly what I need. A simplified set of instructions instead of trying to decode the arcane language in Mazda3Revolution which assumes you are a programmer. Thank you MissHanz
