anyone has their SCBS activated before? i tried a few times where i'm danger close to a car in front of me and SCBS doesn't activate, it was so close that i almost cannot see the rear bumper of the car already, but of course i was able to hit the brake so no collision happened

i tried before under 30 km/h and under 25 km/h and the SCBS doesn't activate at all

and while driving i noticed some strange behavior with the car, not sure it is normal or not
- when i'm coasting slowly and once the speed dropped to 30km/h or lower, i can feel the car is trying to stop itself, is like changing from 2nd gear to 1st gear similar to engine braking

- when i press the brake pedal, i can hear some hydraulic hissing sound hmm.gif and when i try to press the brake pedal 100% i can feel there are some stopping point in the middle, the action is not smooth

is this 2 behavior an intended design? hmm.gif

SCBS only will active when your speed is betwwen 4-30km/h and if your leg is stepping on the brake, it will not active. I tried few times and it work fine to me. It only will active if you are not stepping the brake at all. It does make sense otherwise the SCBS will keep kick in when you are follow car behind at town during jam. bruce.gif

maybe my instinct kick in earlier than the SCBS, i just rest my leg on the brake pedal and make sure i dont accidentally press the pedal to stop it from activate and it doesn't

maybe should try on cardboard next time, i wonder if SC has a way to check this tongue.gif

Oh guys. Just realise adaptive high beam is only turned on when your headlights are in auto mode and your stick is in high beam position.

If you are on manual headlights , it is just normal high beam in high beam position.

So adaptive headlights (following the curve) doesn't work in low beam?

i think you referring to auto high beam right?. the adaptive high beam that you mention is only available for certain market where it cut through the oncoming object without lowering the beam.

im referring to high beam control (HBC). what it does is it has a light sensor that puts high beam when it senses no street light and no on coming vehicle.

it wont work below 25km/h.

if you turn it on, u will see on your dashboard the logo. high beam logo, with a letter "a".

to turn it on you need to:

put your headlights in auto mode

put your headlight stick in high beam position.

to use normal ( ie high beam means always high beam)

use manual lights

put your headlight stick in high beam post.

Flashing (pulling the headlight stick towards you works as normal in both modes).

page 4-48

similar to what i read in my own hardcopy user manual

the MZD connect under Lightning got one option called "Headlight Sensitivity", is it the sensitivity to turn on the headlight when i switch to AUTO? or is the high beam sensitivity?

and the user manual seems like dont have guide for MZD Connect sweat.gif

That's Nett Price

HAVE NOT INCLUDE
6% GST
Other Registration Fees
Insurance
ETC ETC....

Its a common tactic to get potential customers to contact them as it will be seen as THE CHEAPEST DEAL in town.

175 USD is quite expensive after conversion

i dont know what other place can source for mods other than taobao, ebay and amazon too expensive, shipment alone can go up to 50 USD depends no weight and shipping option

not sure how heavy is the spoiler, but i guess the shipping for it is going to be expensive

Drive down to Thailand and install then drive back. Still cheaper than you buy from US and ship it.
