heard mazda 3 will also get a price increase but with body kit thrown in.
but looking at m2 with a 5k increase, i dont think m3 increase will be less than 5k. if so, need more stuff to justify the price. maybe ieloop? haha

Mazda 3 was still showing the CKD launch price when I went in early March. The price on the website hasn't changed as well.

Mazda 2 is already an ASEAN car, so I doubt there will be a CKD version.

that time lucifal told me the new batch of m3 will have price increased and come with bodykit, i think the new price only applicable to the new m3 that come on march 2016 onward and the left over m3 from their inventory still the same price i guess hmm.gif

I guess so. But doubt they will have a price hike until end of March. They have a series of carnivals on-going and will end with a roadshow at 1Utama end of the month. Doing a hike in the middle of this would cause confusion amongst buyers.

Hi, as requested, here is a step by step guide on how to install Cast Screen V2 (Wifi enabled):

CASTSCREEN V2.0

1.   Download files here and extract file.
2.   Reformat your <8GB USB 2.0 to FAT32 format and insert all 5 items from the folder (DOES NOT WORK ON MAC).
3.   Your USB should only show 5 items; make sure you didn't copy the folder itself but the CONTENTS in it like config folder, etc etc tweaks.sh.
4.   Start your car without depressing the pedal. Your engine start button should glow amber. Your car is now in accessory mode.
5.   Insert thumbdrive and wait for dialog box to pop up to initiate install. It should take >2 minutes.
6.   Your install should automatically boot your system once it is complete; if it doesn't you can boot manually: NAV + MUTE and hold for 10 seconds.
7.   Download files here and install the apk on your Android V5 and above.
8.   Enable USB debug mode: SETTINGS > ABOUT DEVICE > ANDROID VERSION > TAP ON IT REPEATEDLY UNTIL YOU ENABLE DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
9.   DEVELOPER OPTIONS > USB DEBUGGING > ENABLE.
10. Connect your Android to your car using a DATA ENABLED cable. To check if your cable is data enabled, connect your phone to a computer using the
cable. If it is data enabled, you should be able to access your phone contents via your computer. If it does not, it should only charge your phone and
nothing else. Most cables that come from powerbanks are NOT data enabled. (Pineng etc.)
11. Choose these settings: H264, 800x600@160, 1 Mbps, input 127.0.0.1 (Or your own car IP address) and press input receiver.
12. Tap Start on right-up corner and it should work.
13. You can install this version over your older one.

Please remember to use at your own risk, wrong use can possibly brick your entertainment system!

you got into very serious accident?

last time my previous car get into an accident, 1/4 of the front is crumpled, tow the car to toyota service center and made police report will take away 1 day time

if i'm not mistaken the insurance adjuster and SA cant do anything until you have made police report and hand the report to them, that alone could take 3-5 days (malaysia standard shakehead.gif )

adjuster and mechanic inspect the car and order parts would take around 3-7 days if they got no spare parts, that alone is almost 1.5 weeks already, then another 1-2 weeks for assembly, repair and testing, if let's say in the middle they found out need to do more repair then it will take another 3-5 days depends on spare parts availability and it also depends on the volume of the service center, place like glenmarie might have a lot of cars waiting for repair and they might not be having a lot of spare parts available

you can try to call in every 2 days to rush them for the progress, last time my vios also took 1 month to repair yet it is like a half baked work sad.gif

Haha I don't know why you'd want to do that but have fun.

You've also just missed Renault's, also at 1U. Subaru's starts 23rd March and the following week is Mazda 30th March.

I check my GL at Glenmarie mazda and they said this should be happen to all mazda 3 and cant claim for warranty due to natural phenomena.

So if new buyer pls consider to buy high spec than GL.

Having the same issue as well, and also when you depress the brake pedal do you feel that the brake pedal is not smooth?

Your brake issue happens only early morning / after rain and parked some time or does it happen all the time.

The RS are mouth watering. Too bad their sales wasn't interested in selling me a Clio RS last year. End up with a more sensible mzd3.
