anyone else use private internet access vpn?

with us west my 30mbps becomes 2mbps download.... is anyone getting a better result with a different pia vpn server ?

It was supposedly upgraded all subscribers to the new upload speed and there was once in January with suddenly most of the forummers got upgraded. Even their website also updated with new upload speed. Then, suddenly they took it down now and revoked back the old upload speed on their page.

Those people have tried turning on and off still nothing changed. So, it will be done by batches.

As for myself, I was really lucky. One of the first ones to get upgraded in this thread, back in mid Nov. It just done automatically without me doing anything.

In fact, many got their speed upgraded without switching on or off router.

Isn't US got a lot server? try connect other US server like Florida, Midwest, Texas etc.

all i know is, the best routing is probably via AAG under sea cable which has a landing point is west US, hence why i used that. but i'm not impressed by the download speed.

2mbps out of 30mbps ? thats too much of a downside

to save time if anyone who is a veteran PIA user knows which US vpn has best result, i would love to know.

unifi 30 is asymmetrical, when i was trying to upload a few gigs worth of files, my connection got severely crippled, many web pages are unable to load, my connection even DCed a few times, is an asymmetrical connection really that bad?

PS using mobile data to send this cause my internet is unusable now lol

Is your upload maxing out the 10mbps? What router are you using?

i want to upgrade to 30 mbps but i will think twice now if the download and upload speed is asymmetrical.. Can anyone confirm it?

Err.. The sheer amount of speedtest screenshots and comments over the past few months since TM announced the recent Advance plans present in this thread... Not proof enough?

Using Dlink dir-850l, don't think its the router's fault, it still managed to upload the files. They were in total 22GB, I have unlimited storage on google drive
