No. what i'm asking is when you apply for upgrade on friday morning and you get in the next day. Did someone from telekom need to come down to your house or they just contact you to inform you the upgrade has been completed?

Im not sure if im wrong , but i have tried out a TL-WR1043ND v1 which is almost as same as the v2 (latest) version except appearance .

The signal is almost identical to the stock L7 unifi router only , router at downstairs , upstairs all room cant get full speed and fluctuate quite abit , best is 18-23mbps , sometimes (seldom) 30mbps . at end of the house area signal also not good sometimes getting 8mbps (single user only) . typical double storey house .

I'm staying at condominium and I consider it quite noticeable upgrade from stock router

Basically, I torrent quite heavily. When I do, my in game ping usually spike up by 5-6 on stock but not for this router. I even get better ping than on stock router even when I'm not downloading anything.

In my 4 years on VIP5 package ...only used the phone line for 4-5 times...which includes calling TM 100 to report Internet problem...thus no call package is fine with me...

Not sure about you guys but found out the ruby pack on my VIP5 is available free to watch ...the channel are not bad...so Ruby it is for me...

Hmm, so the catch for RM30 discount is only valid during contract period whereas many of us who signed up earlier and get the RM20 discount is forever until terminate or switch new plan.

To me, I just grab what it gives first and down the road, 2 years after that I will surely upgrade to higher speed. Probably in two years time, hopefully 30Mbps is considered slow. laugh.gif

Me signed up VIP5 in April 2014, upgraded to VIP 10 in Dec 2014 and upgraded again to 30Mbps in July 2015. By looking at the trend, looks like my next upgrade is coming soon. laugh.gif

I attended a dinner at Aloft KL Sentral just now and my Celcom LTE clocked over 80Mbps. rclxms.gif Looking forward to 100 Mbps. drool.gif

It will be great if TM offers us upgrades in future where we pay the same price for a higher speed.

E.g. if we are paying RM149 (including RM20 discount, excluding HyppTV pack) for 30Mbps now, perhaps 2 or 3 years down the road, we can upgrade to 50Mbps for RM149, but with 2 years contract renewed.

This will be a good deal, pay the same for higher speed.

But looking at the trend all this while, each time we upgrade, we definitely pay more than before... Just keep fingers crossed that this will happen one day!
