Perhaps they will make an official announcement on it some day? E.g. on the same day they launch, perhaps a 100Mbps package?
They will upgrade upload speed before March.just wait patiently.Official TM UniFi High Speed Broadband Thread V24

QUOTE(blstz @ Feb 3 2016, 04:33 PM) Called 100 last night to request for upload speed upgrade to 10Mbps. (Currently with Advance Plan 30). Selected to speak with customer service agent for Unifi. After 10 minutes waiting, the guy over the phone told me that he cannot do anything as he is with technical support. You no need call anymore, product department said it still 5 Mbps but yesterday I get a call that all will upgrade before March.Transferred me to "product inquires" dept so I was put on hold for another 15 minutes. I hung up without being attended to. For those who called 100 to ask for upload speed upgrade, which dept did you select? |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Feb 11 2016, 01:20 PM) So you mean everything works except HyppTV? No I mean hypptv work, the other gadgets work, but gadgets are in very very slow speed but hypptv full speedIn that case, you probably plugged your HyppTV port to the wrong port. It needs to be on LAN4 if you did not change the default settings. http://www.blacktubi.com/unifi/setup-asus-router-for-unifi/ PS:I do not adjust any settings. QUOTE(AVFAN @ Feb 11 2016, 02:53 PM) then something must be incorrect about the router. After I get the router,I reset and upgrade the firmware on last week.then I set it up,first of all,all connection are very slow except hypptv, then I set wireless channel, after that when I open hypptv, hypptv work well and very smooth but the others device connect very slow although I change wireless channel...was it working well before? when was firmware last updated, reboot, reset, etc.? check asus thread, can get help there. i just updated to latest firmware 9443, no problem. it is rm169 + gst. but no free calls - you pay if u call with phone, except toll free ones, of course. Here is my problem,I will transfer this to Asus thread. |

QUOTE(pcphobic @ Mar 3 2016, 07:46 PM) Workaround to get Facebook website to load Today I get 175.xxx.xxx.xxx,but now china website slow now,the other no problem at all...![]() Like myself, some of you have experienced Facebook site takes forever to load or just time out and failed to load at all. The official story is that the undersea cable got damaged (we heard this so many times). I personally do not believe that because Maxis Fiber and Time Fiber and all Mobile Broadband users could load Facebook website with no issue. Apparently some Unifi users also have no problems accessing Facebook site. And I found out that they were on IP Addresses starting with 175.xxx.xxx.xxx (external IP, not your internal IP). So below is my workaround on how to get Facebook site to load. Step 1: Check what is your external IP. Some wifi router admin console have a status section where it will display your external IP address. If you don't know how to find it, another way is to go to http://www.network-tools.com/ and it will display your IP address which is your external IP address. Step 2: If your IP address is something else other than 175.xxx.xxx.xxx, then proceed to step 3. Step 3: There are 2 ways to go about obtaining a new IP address. First method is to manually reboot your Wifi Router. This usually takes a longer time as you will need to wait for your Wifi router to boot up. The 2nd method is to go into your Wifi Router's web admin console (usually it is http://192.168.0.1/) and look under the Status section for the WAN settings. You should be able to see what is your external IP and there is a Disconnect/Connect button there. Just click on Disconnect and wait for a while before clicking on the Connect button. Keep doing this until you see that your external IP address starts with 175.xxx.xxx.xxx |

QUOTE(ericlawyh @ Mar 26 2016, 07:35 PM) Please don't doubt, just do it! Have you lodged your complaint to MCMC? What is some "special" package that give you?BTW, TM has called me yesterday and would offer me some "special" package due to my complaint to MCMC. However, they still have to check with their product team to confirm on the package availability, since I insist no two-year lock-in period. Let's see... |
