How's the connectivity to Singapore?

It is pretty bad for most IP range to me.

No issues here; downloaded about 60GB from multiple torrents.. All completed and seeding.. Full speeds.. Check the torrent file, probably not enough seeders. Else, try rebooting everything including PC.

Well that's your take.. Technology won't be what it is today if advancements were not made and everyone simply sat & accepted their fate. When the black & white TVs were released, should we have stopped there? Or perhaps, stuck with dialup speeds with the 56k modem.. Please do not contribute to the legend that Malaysians love slower Internet speeds.. 

This was back in November when I was asking on behalf of my friend but unfortunately her unit doesn't have Time coverage, only Unifi.
This was his reply to me:
"You may go for Unifi first...we do have a Easy Switch Promo, where later you could switch over to TIME, you are entitled for RM500 rebate to cover your penalty imposed by TM."

Oh well, there are plenty of the agents in the Time Broadband thread, you can spot one and enquire. Probably that promo was just for that period?

I'm currently with VIP 10. What's the number to call to upgrade to 30mbps?

just guess, must give UniFi pressure, BECAUSE if Maxis offer better speed, it means anyone on UniFi can switch to Maxis   

Is Unifi still experiencing slow speed? Downloading apps on my iPhone on wifi and i cant even download anything...hop off WiFi into maxis data ...immediately downloads...router setting or unifi problem still?

I know, my two bosses are using 100M and 500M respectively. Paying RM 129 for 100M.

Well, all this while Maxis broadband fees is cheaper than UniFi. Does it affect anything to TM? Not that I can see.

TM will announce new package on 1st April.

Just tried. Yup able to reach 30mbps speed if directly connected to router. Wifi though remains at 10-15mbps. Is this normal? Anyway to improve the download speed for wifi?

Maxis' current 100Mbps users will kill them.

Well, if you see carefully, the MaxisONE Home is:

*MaxisONE Home 20Mbps, 30Mbps is open to all MaxisONE Plan 128 and above customers only.
MaxisONE Home 100Mbps exclusive to MaxisONE plan 158, 188, MaxisONE Business and MaxisONE Business Extra.

So if you are not subscribed to their the MaxisONE mobile plans stated above, sorry, you are not welcomed to sign up for the new fibre packages.

Sort of a tactic Maxis use to prevent their mobile customers from switching to other telco perhaps? Many Maxis mobile users, myself included, have switched to cheaper mobile packages, particularly from Celcom & DiGi.

I'm actually hoping that Maxis will come out with cheaper packages for everyone, NOT just subscribers of their super expensive MaxisONE mobile packages!

In that way, TM will eventually be forced to lower their pricing for UniFi in order to keep customers.

Unfortunately, looks like Maxis is not giving TM any real competition at all.
