so many brand for Unifi router around, TPLINK, ASUS, DLINK.. which one good? what's the difference between the <Rm100 and > rm200 products?
I need something that can support wireless throughput more than 30mbps as the stock router by TM really sucks.
Difference is like night and day. Usually for routers, the higher the cost, the better the performance. Personally, you need to first access your network needs and purchase accordingly. Better to spend a bit more than to deal with network issues.

Hi,
I have recently upgraded to TM VIP 50Mbps (50dl, 20up) package and was told the stock TM router does not support unifi up till that speed. Only by cable. My questions:
1) Are we entitled to get a new router which can support the 50Mbps speed both by LAN & Wifi?
2) If not, any recommendation on what router to use to fully utilize the speed?
Thanks.
1. This is bolehland...
2. See other posts... Lots of review threads, articles and videos. If in doubt, go for the most popular router that meets your budget and requirements.

I'm using a Macbook 2015 and Iphone 6+
@blacktubi LAN is able to reach 30mbps. Not sure what you meant bout wireless AC but I'm connected via 5ghz channel.
Thanks for the help so far but issue still remains..
Since, upon initial setup, you were able to get the full 30Mbps via wifi.. Did you take any other steps afterwards? Say like updating the firmware, introduced other electronic or otherwise devices that may have caused interference, etc? If not, try resetting the firmware, scan for wireless channels around you and switch to the least congested channel. The Asus RT-AC55UHP is a dual-band wireless-AC1200 gigabit router, but all those only matter if devices connected to it are capable of utilizing it. Finally, see if switching between 20MHz to 40 MHz channel bandwidth helps.
