I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a Panasonic oled tv being sold new for under RM3K. Snagged the last one. I saw another seller selling same model for RM3200. Fingers crossed mine is not some display model or open box etc.

Sorry to break it to you but it’s a display model. Was skeptical when I saw the price and right away asked them. I have been eyeing panasonic lz1000 for too long but still can’t pull the trigger because there is huge difference in price between stores. Some sell it under 3k, some under 4k and some under 5k, and it’s all for the same model and size. So I’m not sure which one is legit and “brand new”

Garbage la this Maxi E-Store. They just called me to inform the Lz1000 is a display unit and whether ok to proceed. Turned them down and asked for refund. Unethical

Beware of purchasing TVs from Desa Home Theatre. I bought a brand new lg oled c2 48 from their outlet in Kepong but when self installing it at home, i noticed some scratches near the base screws. Upon turning on the TV and checking the screen on time, it shows 140 hours. They fucking sold me a display unit claiming it was brand new. Absolute shitheads. I lodged a complaint with Consumer Affairs Department today.

Hey just wondering why didn’t you go with panasonic lz1000 from another store? I’m still on the fence between c2 and lz1000, and it’s hard to make comparison at the store when lz1000 is hardly at any store *sigh*

After first my purchase turned out to be a display unit, I couldn't find a Lz1000 at a low price, so settled with paying extra for a LG C2 which ironically ended up as a display unit.

Any comment?

Harvey Norman got price clearance for 9699 display unit, or brand new unit for 10399 for G2PSA

how did u get tht price bro? i still seeing stock available but 4599 at shopee and lazada. did u get it from their physical store?

When I went there, the price on display was 3999. The thing with Desa Home Theater is, you can always ask for a discount and they will check if they're able to give you one. So mine became 3860. I had some cashback as well so ended up paying 3600 for it.

Just managed to install mine yesterday and checked after saw this message. was lucky I guess, mine was new.

Out of interest, apart from the default apps, what should I download from LG WebOS? Are there any good internet browsers that would allow me to play movies off websites? Are there anything along the lines of Kodi where I can play movies?

Anyone managed to download UNIFI TV apps into LG TV?

https://unifi.com.my/tv/ms/devices/other-smart-tvs

LG App Content store doesn't have the apps, or I rather can't find it. Do I need to sideload it? How can it be done?

LG TV is on webOS... unless Unifi create an app for it otherwise there's no way to install

i) use the Unifi box

or

ii) get a Google TV dongle and install the app on Google TV
