Did you hear any tact tact sound? I have a similar problem as you for my LG after 6 months. The guys came and change the back panel, same problem then few weeks later changed the front oled. So if you need to call support, ask them for 1 to 1 swop better.

I have a different problem with the Wifi connection. LG's wifi connection speed can at times be SIGNIFICANTLY slower than the attached Android box. Both attached to the same router.

Some people say to disable the Screen Share feature but I can't find it on the CX

So finally Tuesday pop out the update for .21 and updated.

But suddenly there is these 2 issues happened between after update and last night that i occured.
My connection is :
1) Shield TV (Tube) > Samsung Q950T Soundbar <eArc< LG CX
2) Xbox series X > LG CX >eArc> Samsung Q950T Soundbar


1st issue: watching contents from shield TV and suddenly black screen for like 2-4 seconds and then come back. The black screen is just pure black without audio and not showing "no signal". This happen twice.

2nd issue: Xbox series X boot up and no audio. Resolution only shows 640x480 and cannot change. Solve by rebooting the Xbox Series X. [checked online forum and saw quite a few ppl having this issue even before firmware .21]

These kind of funny things is the reason why I'm still using 3.00.70 ancient firmware on my cx65 laugh.gif

Will only upgrade when I either really need 4k120 or if some new app need a newer firmware down the road tongue.gif

lol .. the original firmware when i bought last time came with 3.21.16 already actually XD

So far i havent actually "reboot/off wallplug" everything to do a new handshake after the update.

I have mentioned before, every time after a new firmware update, the user should;

1) Turn off the TV.
2) Turn off the main switch the TV is connected to, remove the power plug too.
3) Wait 15-30 minutes for the TV's PSU to discharge any left over current.
4) Reconnect your TV, turn it on in sequence of source > external audio (if available) > TV.

Also as for your Shield, after several updates you should once in a while do system reboot on it as well - just like what you'd do with your phone.

Lastly, eARC and ARC doesn't always work 100% of the time. You should accept this flaw by now.

Agreed on the last one. There will be flaw, and also hdmi cec thingy also never gonna be perfect. Sometimes just have to accept it, else use proper hdmi 2.1 receiver.

So u direct hook up ur stb all to receiver? Or u only use tv speaker? Cos 2020 receiver also having hdmi 2.1 problem.. game like ori and wisp 4k 120hz cannot play like me x1600h only..

Have to use earc.

1) My media player is using cec less adapter as this does work well on the ARC connection.
2) My 4K UHD player itself has 2 separate hdmi outputs, vidao and audio on each hdmi. Video output direct to CX, sound output to Samsung N950 soundbar. The player itself can turn off the cec.
3) Doesn't have game console now, queuing to get one since the next gen console launching sad.gif . So, doesn't has the chances to test the 4K 120hz if using the cec less adapter on game console.

I see, sounds complicated lol. For me is the benefit of earc outweight to direct connect my receive which only hdmi2.0. But i do turn off most cec function. Like auto switch on those, those really can give conflicting signal like when i am on shield tv, my console turn on, both will fight for switching over lol. At the end i just turn off my shield tv one.
