anyone gotten their paws on the 48" C1 already?

seems the price of RM5k is a pretty good entry price for an above average OLED TV

any features not available compared to the bigger size siblings? hmm.gif

I have it... it's noticeably small for a TV so I don't recommend it for living room laugh.gif

Latest firmware is actually 5.10.35. This fixes the DV flicker when you use a source device to passthrough a repeater (receiver or soundbar for example). 5.00.35 is a Korean firmware and is an interim security fix which will be rolled out with 5.10.35 (US already got this firmware few days ago btw). 5.00.03 introduced a security vulnerability in webOS, so 5.00.35 closes the loophole.

On a side note, LG C9 firmwares has been broken for over a year actually. I still don't understand why they haven't fixed the elevated black levels on SDR mode if you have a custom 1D LUT uploaded to the TV (which funny enough is done by the Calman auto-cal software partnered with LG).

Seems like LG CX has good news on the 4k120hz with Dolby vision + AMD Freesync update.

Ya, only HD and no 4K, no HDR, no 5.1 audio, no Dolby Atmos.
Apple TV 4K and Chromecast with Google TV do have 4K and HDR but no Dolby Atmos and many film suppose came with 4K HDR but here Disney+ Hostar only give you HD.

I already switch to Disney+ US edition and VPN to Canada as I want Star channel inside.
I didn't paid extra for the Hulu and ESPN.

Suprisingly express vpn works very well with disney+. My shieldtv very fast can get 4k reso already, using US server. Gonna try see canada ok or not.

Weird is that netflix is very slow on the other hand.

So far I had test 3 VPN. Surfshark and ExpressVPN both work perfectly smooth and great in VPN to US or Canada. I will continue subscription of Surfshark as it is much cheaper.

Another I test is Windscribe, this one is garbage, slow and movie stop and circle from time to time.

The LG48C1 is back at RM4888 on Senq as part of their member’s day sale.
Need to supplement with about 600 Senq points though

Actually the closer was Singapore, Singapore also came with Disney+ Star.

But I will stick to Canada and using NordVPN instead now.
