Is the 55e6 available in Malaysia?
If it is what is the price like?
I would expect around 15k?

I would rather they take back the soundbar and reduce the price further
Its great to see the price being even lower than the b6 was this time last year. By the looks of it seems like we cant expect the same next year.... Would be great if they bring back a OLED 3D model next year, even if just one model with lower hdr brightness output as a result. Till that happens i guess i will stay with my H5000 plasma |

QUOTE(Convael @ May 2 2019, 08:58 PM) They have not confirm anything but it may still have a chance to happen , especially when they are shifting focus onto the larger size and higher resolution OLEDs ( 77' , 82') Ah OK got it. Yeah the fact they pulled a feature they were gloating about in CES at the last minute definitely sucks...There were rumors that their 8K OLED (which will be released later this year) is using top emission with a new Indium gallium zinc oxide (IZGO) backplane . Again , LG has never confirm anything so all of these could have changed. Just like how they've found a critical issue with the 120mhz BFI and pull them last minute. For now I'll continue using my Samsung h5000 plasma till it breaks or till we have top emmision 65 inch panel for about 10k MYR |

Man I hope we get some new 7nm hdmi 2.1 GPUs from nvidia soon.
Hope that the denon x3700h, when it comes out, also has full hdmi 2.1 ports in it. If I'm not wrong, when hdmi 2.0 first released, receivers only had a few ports supporting it while most ports were still 1.4 Lastly, many people have been speculating that the 2019 lg OLED do not support everything which hdmi 2.1 offers (it's not like you can even test it anyway so these claims are kinda baseless) so if that's true hope the c10 would be fully hdmi 2.1 compliant! I have a good feeling that the 65c10 should be available for around 10k around q3 next year based on how the prices have been going down year after year |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Dec 15 2019, 12:32 AM) I too have doubts that the C9 supports the full HDMI 2.1 specification. But in any case, there will be nothing to take advantage of 4k120hz anyways for a very long time. Next-gen GPUs would still struggle to push 4k60 comfortably, 120 is a stretch so... yeah, I don't see the point even as a gamer. Yeah 2.1 doesnt really seem huge but apart from VRR which is already here, I am actually looking forward to the apparently fast refresh rate switching which 2.1 should have. I guess newer hdmi 2.0 TVs are already fast enough so not many complains on this can be seen but it's sure as hell super slow on my 2014 plasma lol.Next gen consoles touting 120hz, neither of them has said at what resolution and if they're promising 4k120 then that's basically horse shit as they've promised for the past 2 generation. 1080p res of PS3/360, some games hit that but most were sub 720p. PS4 said 1080p60, but most of them were a joke. Don't think supporting the full specs of HDMI 2.1 is important. The game changer is VRR, which is already running well on the C9. So for the mean time and for the next 2 years at least, it's more than good enough. Yes it only happens on the start and end of a movie but its enough to annoy me that I'm actually looking forward on it being improved on 2.1 Ah, it's not gonna be long till CES now... Let's see if the C10 has anything surprising or is it gonna be just a minor refresh with nothing much to shout about (i value uniformity and motion much more than brightness so hoping those two gets improved further...) |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Dec 15 2019, 03:56 AM) Maybe finally they can launch the BFI that refreshes at 120hz instead of the useless 60hz. Still kinda butthurt they pull the plug on that last minute before the C9 launched. Yeah that was pretty bad of them to show it off during CES and then pull it off right before releasing it in April. I guess even if they announce it we gotta wait till it actually starts shipping to fully confirm... |

QUOTE(touristking @ Dec 15 2019, 06:25 AM) Have always only on Plasma. May be time to change to OLED. Let's say 65". How much have prices come down for the past 2-3 years? A 65c9 is around 11k to 12k65B9 is below 9k I believe. As for their differences, you can try googling it as their tons of questions and articles on it already. I roughly remeber the c7 65 being at round 18k or more when it launched? So yeah around 2k reduction in every new release. Whatever it is we will surely see the c10 getting even more reasonably priced for what it offers. |

QUOTE(tientien @ Jan 1 2020, 11:15 AM) got my c9 as well, but seems like hdmi arc connecting with sound bar got problem, sometimes got sound sometimes no, happen randomly. anyone know the reason? https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/topic?url=...link_source=appTry to look thru that thread, apart from that all you can do is maybe update to the latest firmware which dropped a week or so ago EARC is a mess and it wouldn't be surprising if you still can't get it working even after going thru all the above. |

Can't wait for rting review on the CX.... That'll be the decision making point as to whether should I bother waiting for q3 to get a CX or just say screw it and get either a B9 or C9

Unless covid causes any delay, byr ight by June CX should be here. Looks like launch Street price for 65 might just end up being around 12-13k (msrp 14k) if the US price really is 2.8k as being rumoured currently.... And so by q3 we may see it inching towards 10k slowly. Just my inexperienced prediction in play here, don't trust it in any way lol.... Aaarrrggghhhh I need HDR..... But i dun wanna commit to c9 as I've waited this long. And to also think what should I do with my still amazing plasma.... Hmmm

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 14 2020, 01:24 PM) Really is sl5y lol.. exactly tis one. Seng Heng donโt sell any receivers? If got, Yamaha 585 would be a good upgrade to your 475...your current receiver is from 2013 without any of the UHD audio and video support. https://www.lg.com/us/home-audio/lg-SL5Y-sound-bar I see.. ya urs is a better bargain la.. now i got senheng credit so i might will get q80r.. seems like is the best bang of buck. Rather than downgrading to a sound bar (flagship sound bar or not is still a downgrade compared to an average bookshelf imo) just get a new receiver to use with your existing speakers. And then slowly get a new sub, and LCR eventually. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 14 2020, 07:03 PM) senheng didnt too bad ๐๐ a 585 would cost me rm2k+... top top up abit i get top firing speaker and woofer. Actually i am now 3.0 becos my subwoofer kong.. my bookshelf is waf-1, which is a custom made speaker no brand one lol.. but is known outside.. the centre also x-cs encore. Completely your choice but you can also try to get second hand ones like below...https://www.stylelaser.com.my/product/yamah...av-receiver-pl/ What I would do is get an upgraded receiver, and then save up for a sub. Anyway, if you are dead set on a sound bar make sure you try to audition before buying the sound bar youโre thinking of getting in case it ends up being similar to the sl5y |

QUOTE(nabelon @ Apr 12 2020, 03:16 AM) Lazada 65c9 10999, that's insanely cheap for such a great screen. Or you could go for a 65b9 which is around 8299 if you just wanna get into the OLED bandwagon and ok to lose some of the c9 advantages. |
