And they expect we all go shop show face 😞 Best visit Rodalink in Bandar Botanic Klang. If there's stock, they have it because they are also the importers to Malaysia. Can look for Sam there. Why only Tern? Can consider others too, you know. |

QUOTE(weretiger @ Mar 27 2016, 03:56 PM) If foldable with bigger wheelsets is your criteria, Dahon also ada mah. Dahon IOS is 24 inch wheels. Also Dahon is just half the price of the Tern Ninja of the same sized wheelsets. Also if you look very carefully, they are also the same frame, same factory or not, I don't know lah but design is the same. Just like an enlarge Tern Verge or actually the old Dahon Vectors (already discontinued but used by Tern). Dahon Vectors now have new design , same as the Dahon Vigor but the upper scale models with better wheelsets and components are still called Vectors. The only drawback according to Jimmy of Kimbell Jaya was the disc brakes but for one customer, he changed to a Shimano hydraulic setup for free! ![]() |

QUOTE(H2D @ Mar 26 2016, 03:16 PM) as long as the hub match the correct width, and if u intend to use back the rim, the spoke count have to be the same. Thanks for reply. Btw , if i only changed the front crank to 56t and pair with behind 6speed ( start at 14t). Is it easy to hit 20kmh? I am looking for budget upgrade. Lol |

Bikes out for a play. The Birdy is so comfortable! I think the elastomer suspension is much better than the Moulton's.
Irritating things about the Birdy.....no where to mount a bottle cage. The bar on the expedition rack is so thick only Ortlieb pannier can fit and no where to secure the pannier bag at the bottom. The steering is very sensitive and it is cumbersome to fold. Pedals has to be in the right position etc. The Brompton is no match in today's windy condition due to the lack of gears. Should have brought out the Speed TR or Tikit in hindsight. This post has been edited by desastar: Mar 28 2016, 11:07 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(mizi28 @ Mar 29 2016, 08:52 AM) hi all cc mr etigge i bought this da bike yesterday. got 1 problem..the handle is wobbly. how to fix? any chance this bike can use aftermarket part? especially the handle post The fastener works the same way as the newer Dahons. The newer ones has treads on the inside of the fork steerer and yours are with treads on the outside. Works the same way, they pull and hold the fork from falling off. The present handle post or Lite pro ones can be installed but needs some modifications. Then, you will lose the classic looks of the bike. Try to tighten all moving parts and see. |
