as long as the hub match the correct width, and if u intend to use back the rim, the spoke count have to be the same.

testing out factory stock bike
bought for my friend, so had a chance to test it today before owner collect from me.



i never test this bike on stock parts. all of my friend who bought this bike already modded it.for what i feel, the handlebar is near to me. maybe to add on a stem to make it comfort. other than that this kenda stock tyre are soft just like kenda kriterium. its comfort but soft on the tyre wall.

the folding paddle are lousy. i just push a bit when climbing and the paddle started to break!hahah, but that is not a problemo since its 2ndhand item.the 12-25 8speed caserne are enough for me pairing with 53/39 crankset

this bike if im not mistaken already sold out and replace with other model. but when it 1st launch the price is around rm700-750 and last i ask the price already increased to rm900-950.

the bb is normal english thread. some say bb86 or also known as bb28..

normal bb one, the only different is the bb shaft length if u are using squaretaper!

if u change to litepro square taper crank, no need to change bb.otherwise need special tool to open the bb..

if u running on current gear setup, no need new chain, unless...

1. bigger chainring - maybe can join old chain or buy new
2. change gearing - 10speed chain for 10speed casette and some does others

but i presume ur using trinx and current crankset is 53t/52t and ur old chain will do the job.

9 speed chain are for 9 speed casette.
do remember ur trinx rear hub is a freewheel. means u need to change ur hub to used casette either 8s-10s. otherwise u will stuck with cogset 8speed the max!

Do folding need to have 16 speed like the tern link d16 or enough with just 8 speed like tern verge n8.?

after more than six month i started my restoration porject, today this bike made its 1st appearance!



but, this bike are not 100% complete yet. another 15% to go.

many people said ka2016d consider the value buy for budget 1k, i just bought 1 from de yuan, perling, but it is last piece. heard from trinx company, ka2016d already stop production, ka2024d is to replace it, but more expensive.

ka2024 is around RM1k and ka2024d is RM1.2-1.3k.

or u can consider amis fac 1.2 (21 speeds, alloy), around RM750, if u wan disc brakes can go for amis fac 2.1, RM1k.
