I didn't do anything. I went back to hometown on Saturday and it was still 5Mbps for upload.
I only came back on Monday's evening after work, noticed the upload speed has been increased. biggrin.gif

I have a feeling it's just for temporary.

Nobody contacted me yet but I did receive the letter.

Coincidentally my upload speed has mysteriously increased to 10Mbps since I came back on Monday.

I'm a 30Mbps user.

Because Hypptv must be plugged directly to the router for VLAN Taggingor else you will have to connect to a switch then connect the switch to BTU. No matter how you try to set it up, you will still have to plug it into VLAN supported router or switch. It doesn't just work magically without VLAN tagging. You can't just simply connect to repeater.
If I was you, I will pull a cable from the port that HyppTV supposed to plug in to wherever my TV are as long as it's within 100m.

Technician came yesterday and tried changing the wireless settings/replace the router but the wifi reception is really bad even at only 10 meters away . No wonder you guys are really mad about the default router they provide sweat.gif
Any recommendation for unifi supported router with range up to 10-15 meters?

I'm using tl-wr1043nd right now. The router is at 1st level. Can access the wifi from ground floor which is more than 10m without any problem. Further more its cheap compared to other brands.

Technician or rather, city link coming to my place in a few to replace the BTU in regards to the "improving our programme" thing. Honestly, I don't feel good about this lol.

I will straight way say no if the new BTU doesn't work with my router.

lol... turns out, they just came to replace power adapter.

Here is how it looks:

Good news IMO. Don't fix something that isn't broken.

My house, using UniFi, I apply Maxis Fibre under same house. They called and detected my house got UniFi ad. And ask me don't terminate UniFi until Maxis installed.

I said I'm not going terminate it since I want 2 internet line. They said OK, den they said Maxis only will give new router, but not modem, I know they share same modem with UniFi Modem, which is LAN Port 2.

I request I want separate modem but not allow to do so. So what can I do now?
*
I felt like want to flip the table now! I'm unifi VIP20 customer and I still need to keep this Unifi!

I'm subscribed to Maxis 10mbps. Den I got call from maxis and they said I got Unifi now and they need use existing modem and I said NO, I request SEPARATED MODEM and I need use 2 internet at the same time! Den they said its ok can use both at the same time. Den I agree and go ahead!

Den today came installed! Everything ok now. Den I ran speedtest on Unifi and Maxis at the same time, GUESS WHAT!!! Either 1 line will be down if other line is downloading/uploading heavily!!! I felt like, WTx!!!

Before that I ad REQUEST I NEED SEPARATED MODEM! And I don understand WHY they don't allow!!! This is sooooo FRUSTATING!
