Bro mean downgrade prices is ok ?
*
Which package you signup for? 30Mbps(RM199 without RM20 discount) + Ruby pack(RM10)?

if yes then this is not consider downgrade, as for my case i signup 50Mbps(RM249 without RM20 discount) in august. so me and many other user here as well, make a complain to MCMC and CFM to get the "early bird" RM20 discount.

ps: which TMpoint you went to? u can try to go to other TMpoint to get the RM20, as some of the user here just walk in to TMpoint to get the RM20 discount without make complain to MCMC and CFM.

Guys, if you're still using DIR-615 after upgraded to Unifi Advance 30Mbps, you won't be able to utilize the full potential as the router is not capable of handling high bandwidth. I changed a new third party router and to my surprise it was stable at max speed (+- less than 1Mbps).

I've complaint to TM before and they insisted their side have no problem, and yeah, after changed the router it proved them right.
*
The wifi signal are weak for dir-615, if u wanna get max speed then u have to be near to the router.

But if u are using lan cable then u can get max speed all the time...i am still using the dir-615 with lan cable for my pc, no problem to get max speed 50Mbps with lan cable, but i gonna buy better router to replace it bcos only manage to get around 30Mbps on my wifi devices on ground floor as the router are at 1st floor.

I'm also a very happy user of 30Mbps

but the only thing i hate is being unable to stream twitch properly

last time use VIP5 can stream Source smoothly. then i upgraded to VIP10, that's when it all started, can't even stream at mobile quality.

now upgrade again to 30Mbps, SAME THING. but much better. at least I can watch at medium quality now with buffering every 30s. back in VIP10 I can't even watch anything.

checked all the solutions people provided all over, from this forum to reddit to twitter and phone calls.

seriously, TM needs to do something about this.
*
i guess i am lucky...i can stream twitch with source quality at any time...

May I know when your unifi connection is down, how long before the TM technician come to solve the issue?

24 hours? 48 hours? Or more than 48 hours?

Currently using maxis ftth and want to switch to unifi, hope for a much better response time for onsite visit.

for my case BTU rosak....24hrs, today call, tomorrow come, but it was 2 yrs ago....

Does IPv6 really helpful in YouTube videos? My YouTube issues are just occasionally. Now there's a problem, I can't use IPv6 on my Xiaomi router. laugh.gif
*
enable ipv6 does help for youtube issue...but for me, if i enable ipv6 i cant load image on facebook, even with google ipv6 dns, so i only enable if when the video wont load. will disable after watching the video.

I don't think I can do anything to my router... Only if I use back my stock router, it will be on IPv6. sweat.gif

i also dont have issue with facebook on ipv4, but only occasionally youtube video cant load...so have to enable ipv6 in order to watch those videos....

Some questions on the installation. The 15m free one is the yellow cable or the black cable ? Bcs in my friend's condo, they pull a black cable from the termination point inside the house to somewhere around the middle of the house to a small box then got the roll of yellow cable connected to it.
How about for streaming ? Any throttling ?
*
streaming no problem....u can stream 4k video effortlessly, and so far i didn't get any throttling.

i tried this iflix.

i think it only works on tablets and mobilephones.

it works on the ipad, just get it from appstore.

android tablets n phones, can get via googleplay.

it may or may not work on boxes - some get it, some don't.

could be hardware restrictions or some control like that seen in astro-on-go and hypptv everywhere - works on some devices, not on others.
*
it works on pc too.
