Anyway AUTH and LINK light should be ON all time so u can use internet.

Maybe U try call TM, dial 100 to complain Technical Issue.

Called and made a report, they have no clues on the matter but it takes 1 working day to solve.

Well, this sucks.

maybe its the pole issue, surely tomolo they'll come asap to fix it.

sure on the pole your cable break or somewhere kena gigit tikus.... experienced before where cable break at the pole...

call them to fix... fix for temporary, can get internet and maybe the do the fiber check, my quality maybe dropthen later they change new one of the cable....

was thinking of "upgrading" my mom's 384kbps to streamyx lite, then I saw this

Guys... I just installed Unifi 30Mbps. 1st day the WiFi connection is OK. After few days, I cant connect to the WiFi. SSID like chipsmore, appear sometimes and missing most of the time. When try to connect, it failed and show as "Saved, Secure". Is it router issue?
This is my 2nd time. 1st try, i reset the router and re-setup the connection and success. Today it happens again, and i tried to reset, but still cant connect. Any idea?

Lousy router issue.

Buy better one la.. Like Asus brand or tp link.

ya.. was planning to.
Recently i bought D-Link DSL-2877AL for my streamyx but not sure if it supported Unifi.
Found a youtube video showing custom firmware support unify but unfortunately doesnt mention the firmware properly.

Btw, any suggestion for Unifi Router? Will i still be able to use VOIP if i purchase new router? I still need to connect the Home Gateway box?

Asus rt n12hp.

Regarding the voip, it's plug in the btu, not router.

For iptv, once u setup Asus router, it'll tell u that lan port 4 is for hpptv tv. And yes u still need connect to home gateway (btu) since it's the fiber cable translation smile.gif

I am on Advance 30. I am trying to download some MP3 from YouTube (using online converter to get MP3 files from YouTube). The download speed is simply pathetic...

Aiya, use your imagination. I don't want to corrupt your mind. brows.gif

Normally if something wrong and claim warranty, TM will replace with another unit straight away. No need to wait. My STB replaced with new unit.

You guys make me feel so old. When I first started using Jaring. There was no WWW, had to use Gopher. Email came through UUCP. POP/SMTP probably still in RFC stage. Modem speed was only 14.4k.

From Youtube should be quite fast. Also on Adv30. Using Jdownloader.

i did ask TM 100 when i upgraded my unifi from VIP10 to unifi30mbps

1. yes, u will get 1 year warranty for the devices from ur upgrade date( modem, router, phone, set-up box)
2. the price will be same even after 2-years contract.
3. nope, if ur device is damaged/faulty then only can be replace.

I guess I am not downloading directly from YouTube. I am using youtube-mp3.org to convert the videos on YouTube and download..

I have not used Jdownloader.. can Jdownloader do the same thing? I only want to download the MP3 to be played on my car stereo.

Yep, it's quite good. paste a youtube link into Jdownloader and you can choose what you want to download. audio or video.
