My bad, just realized the option has to be chosen from the drop down menu. That means +RM50.

If at any point it fails, it would be cheaper to buy a new one rather than sending it back for warranty(you need to pay the fee to china and back to malaysia)

anyway, if you're getting it from kopipeng, it shouldn't be DOA. So by the time it fails, there would be a new model to replace it and it is a good indicator to get that instead laugh.gif

Don't use Windows to connect wireless.

Install the software from the disk, use that software to connect wireless.

hi all. i have a problem here. i just bough usb wireles adapter, D-Link DWA-132 adapter to connect to wifi.

The problem is, i cant connect to my unifi. tried to connect to my phone's thethering, got no problem, can connect as usual. do u all have any idea why is this happening?

I previously use TP-Link TL-WN821N model, and never had any problem connecting to wifi before. feel regret buying it now.

please anyone if u think any way to solve this. thanks a lot in advance.

More effective to reboot the BTU, however I did not restart any of it yesterday and still got the increased speed.

yeah hopefully..
currently with 50mbps I think it's oredi fast enough, able to stream 4K and downloading 50gb 4K movie just over 2 hours..

but then I guess, it's really tempting to see even faster downloading speed, 12mBps brows.gif
that will give you downloading time for average size movie of 2gb in less than 3 minutes rclxms.gif

let's see what the TM tech will say then
*
In case you forgot. This was about the HyppTV pixelation problem when total traffic approaches 39mbps.

TM techs came later that day but as blur as me. Says they've never seen this problem before. So they tested the fibre and said the signal was OK, good enough for 50mbps if I were to subscribe to it. They changed the STB to the new Android one and the problem seemed less but still happening. They also offered to change the BTU but I said no. That BTU has been reliable and I didn't want to disturb it.

Also because it occurred to me then that my vlan600 is bridged to port 10. My pppoe lives on port1. The RB2011 has 5 GB ports (ether1-5) and 5 100mbit ports (ether6-10) on separate switches. Maybe that has something to do with it.

When I have time, I'm gonna move HyppTV back to port 5 and test again.

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask this. If I want to move the location of my Unifi router and modem, is it advisable to call TMnet directly and hire their contractor? Don't need to rewire because the fiber cable in my house is not inside the wall, so can just remove the clips and line up the cable where I want to place the equipment.

The reason is that I live in a terrace house and the neighbor's bathroom on the other side of the wall is leaking, causing water to seep into my house through said wall. Now the water is dropping down to the lower floor from the ceiling, and right onto where I put my Unifi Equipment. Don't know if or when the neighbor will be fixing this problem, so I want to at least protect my internet access for now.

maybe you can google and check if there's any issue for your model/firmware. probably a existing/new bug in mikrotik
