QUOTE(Anti-LB @ Jan 13 2016, 04:20 PM) Last time I used streamyx 5mbps can download rapidgator, uploadable.ch, uploaded.net etc with 300-500mbps but now on Unifi 30mbps can only download with 10-30kbps. Anyone know how to fix this? Am I being throttled? On wired connection? I thought you need a premium account with those website to get full speed? I can't get above 60 kbps for uploaded

QUOTE(Anti-LB @ Jan 13 2016, 04:24 PM) I'm on wireless but last time wireless download also can get 300kbps Yes got premium account yeah something doesnt seem right for 1Mb line should get around 100KBps (rounding up here...typically around 120-130) so for 5M - 500KBps 30Mb - 1.5MBps

QUOTE(jusbella @ Jan 13 2016, 04:40 PM) 1mbps = 128kb/s 5mbps = 640kb/s 30mbps = 3.84mb/s Oops typo there should have written 3.5 instead of 1.5 Your numbers are correct for ideal scenario ( I just use 10 as the multiplier). Thanks This post has been edited by VeeJay: Jan 13 2016, 05:11 PM

QUOTE(Anti-LB @ Jan 13 2016, 11:21 AM) Don't have ethernet cable since my computer is in another room. The Unifi ppl just came and speedtest ethernet with their pc is 28mb but they say the default wifi router telekom supply only goes up to 20mbps, I'm like wth unifi sell 30mbps plan but only give 20mbps wifi router? So this means needs to buy router? Happened to me..stock router sucks...just buy new one

Received letter from Unifi stated that Citylink agent will come and change the adapter..
Now why they want to change the adapter? Power adapter?

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jan 13 2016, 11:25 AM) The sad truth but yes you probably need a better router. You should be able to get the full 30Mbps if you stand beside the router. can u suggest me best router to replace the tm one.. budget if possible below rm150.. max 5 people use only, all through wifi..

QUOTE(r1nk @ Jan 13 2016, 08:35 PM) can u suggest me best router to replace the tm one.. budget if possible below rm150.. max 5 people use only, all through wifi.. I suggest D-LINK DIR-816L and TP-LINK Archer C20. The RT-N12 series OKLY mention is a great router but these 2 provide better value. Both of them support Wireless AC and they are dual band. I never try the TP-LINK but the D-LINK is not bad.
