I thought D-Link is the better one because you can flash it.
Anyway, I also add another Xiaomi router as AP for better signal. biggrin.gif
My sister's house in Rasah Kemayan also not yet though I can see it is already installed, just waiting for the day to activate.
*
I have a spare high end Dlink router which was donated to me that has dual channel.

Decided not to waste time to flash and just exchange biggrin.gif

Works fine ever since.

The default Dlink's pretty okay if there's no walls blocking the router thou.

I got the crappy D-Link one.

My friend got the same thing. Can't get full speed on wireless if the distance is a little further and blocked by wall.

mine is old silver D link wifi router, unifi30mbps plan, test with speedtest :

tested with wireless (phone/mobile infront of router)- can reach 30mbps sometimes but speed is not stable, from 10mbps to 30mbps. so far connection stable if more than 5 devices connected to wireless, just the only speed is not stable. could be from other neighbour wifi interference

tested with wired- can reach 30mbps at all times and quite stable from the speedtest.

for me, yeah the router quite sucks, wifi speed not stable, u cant change dns settings etc. but its enough for browsing n sosial media. hahahhaha

My room alone at least 6 devices connected laugh.gif

2 phones, 2 laptops, 1 desktops, 1 smart Tv and 1 PS4.

If on the default router, I'll be facing disconnection issues already.

Folks, are there various 30M package from TMnet?

When I checked their site...it seems they are offering Advance Unifi Plan RM179 exGST but the phone charges are like 20cents per call (all across), arent there a package with free calls?

Have they discontinued the VIP packages? Cant seem to find the link from their site...dah pening
*
There is only one 30M package, but there are various addons that you can choose.

I'm on 30Mbps + 600 minutes call plan, so that's 179 + 20.

I opened a service ticket via OCC trying my luck saying my neighbor has 10mbps and all, they replied saying they can't do anything as ADV30 plan is 30/5 speed.

thats wat i thought too. since its already stated 30/5 is the official speed. if less speed, we can complaint, but if ask them to increase the speed, we dont hv right to do it.
those 30/10 should be lucky thumbup.gif

So just wait for it, they might be increasing it in stages and monitoring it at the same time whether their network can still handle it.

Last time I used streamyx 5mbps can download rapidgator, uploadable.ch, uploaded.net etc with 300-500mbps but now on Unifi 30mbps can only download with 10-30kbps. Anyone know how to fix this? Am I being throttled?
