They dont give you new eq but your eq warranty renew for 1 year same as new eq.

Most obvious benefit to upgrade compare to re apply i think is probably you get voice pack which is actually better then old fixed line free call since now you have 600 minutes free for a month including calls to any h/p or maxis/celcom fixed line. After 600 minutes fixed to tm is still free but rest is 10 cent.I have used it for a month and now actually dont need to pay the extra rm16-rm22 that always occuring every month since family like to call h/p.

Now my bill is 179 b4 gst compare to rm199+calls(rm15-rm22) b4 gst.

Problem is new application, re apply, or upgrade by going to tmpoint or calling 100 doesnt get you free voice pack.

You only get free free pack if they call you and ask you to upgrade but i notice here on forum some ppl say they not getting free voice when ask to upgrade >? so is a lil confusing.

are you sure they will give extended warranty for people who are upgrading??? i asked before when they call me for upgrade and the answer is no... if can have their tnc and stated there, it will be awesome... if not, hard to trust...

If you upgrade, your contract is automatically renew and your eq warranty is automatically renew for 1 year

You can call 100 or go tmpoint to confirm, but base on my experience some staff have no clue and will just say no and expect you to take what they say as final ..zzz

Say even if you dont upgrade, and your eq is out of warranty and faulty or what ever and you wish to replace, you have 3 options.

1.Replace on your own with what ever you want .
2.Purchase from them .
3.Have them replace free of charge but they will renew your contract.

you sure they start to cap unifi user? during non peak hours mine is 150kbps, night time become 30kbps. what the fuck they said 30mbps uncapped. now capped me. even i accessing UK site also got problem.
*
quite some reported slow speeds here, likely to be capped although poor peering and bad routing can also be a factor for slow speed

Is this figure after you removed the hyptv package attached together with the plan right? I'm still on vip5 ...want to join the bandwagon.

Unifi 30mb is rm169 , with promo - rm20 so it will show 169-20 = 149 on yr bill b4 gst

Then you just add what ever tv pack you getting to it.You MUST choose a tv pack. Minimum is rm30.
Aneka/varnam is rm30, ruby rm40 junbo rm60. My brother in law retain his previous mega pack at rm50 .I dont think there is another other packs but i could be wrong.

So total usually is rm149+rm30 = rm 179.

Will I still be able to get this package if I walked in to any tm point tomorrow before 31st?
*
Honestly no idea lol , just call tm or go tmpoint to find out.You should get it since it is till 31 dec.

Be sure to check and ask and confirm everything with other staff or 100, seriously some tmpoint staff still have no clue and will just say untrue things.

Things like warranty, or maintain phone number, or like that you can apply up to 3 unifi using same name under same house instead they say no warranty , new number, 1 person = 1 unifi , 1 house = 1 unifi, cant apply new b4 terminate old..zzz

Was very annoying experience to the brink of just wanting to terminate and apply new , tm point and 100 giving me different answers, end of the day lucky for me tmc call me with offer to upgrade and explain facts while he constantly put me on hold to double check everything and not just talk out of his XXX.

Called 100 to upgrade my Vip 5 to Adv 30 last Friday and was told that they need 7 days to process my upgrade. Emailed help@tm.my and got a reply saying they have no record of my order and advised my to wait for 7 days as per advice from the staff from CS. But how is it possible that they don't even have a record of my request to upgrade?

P:S: If i walk in into any Tmpoint outlets to upgrade will they upgrade it right away? Or at least faster and efficient than 100?

Hi all,

There were a few agents put up their banner and table (stated Unifi is here) outside our apartment's guardhouse, and one next to guardhouse (inside the apartment compound) and even one in the elevator lobby area. So I signed up ADV30 on 10th December. Until now, I haven't receive a single call from the agent or from TM. I called the agent but he did not answer the phone.

Today I walked into TM Point, let them help check my application status, but the lady can't see a single trace about my application. Then she checked her computer for Unifi coverage and she didn't see my apartment's building name, but I doubt if their list of coverage are up to date? She also called the agent but he didn't answer phone call.

Then she suggest me to fill up a new application form and she would submit for me and will let me know for any update. At least she's far more helpful than the agent that I signed up with. rclxms.gif

What I wish to know are:
Is that possible the agents got the first hand news of future coverage here very soon, so they set up a few posts to grab some future customers in advanced even before our building are ready for Unifi? hmm.gif

Anyone here can suggest a better way to deal with this situation?

Many thanks in advanced! notworthy.gif

Guys,may i know whether TP-LINK TL-WR841ND or TL-WR841HP support Unifi and Hypptv?
I've been looking for affordable and budget router to replace stock RG-INNATECH RG4332.
I've been considering ASUS router also, but I think it is out of my budget.Tq

Based on my previous experience, reseller may get the info faster where the next area to be deploy.

Normally if there is booth set up outside the area, it just means the area is covered or soon to be.

The building may already pre-installed the port and equipment already, just you may not know.
For apartment, they just need to lay fibre to the ground floor, they do not need lay fibre cable to every floor.

Read some previous discussions on IPv6. Could someone please advise how I should enable IPv6? Do I enable it on my computer, or I should enable it on my router?

I am on Uinifi 30 and is using TP-link router.

Thanks.
