Damn.. I was on Unifi 10mbps package with 10mb up and download..

and they upgraded for me to UniFi Advance 30Mbps - without my consent...

the upgrade is auto?

it is not auto and need your consent first.... check first your occ.unifi.my account to see whether got some activities there...and if stay with families, ask them who tell to update...

if all answer is no, you can try reach back to them to revert old plan(if got discount, dunno can get back...)

No activity. I checked all previous bills and was stated VIP10 billed at 199... now no longer stated VIP10 but billed with 169

depending on what your usage is, this is either good news or bad news. if you don't use alot of upload stuff then consider leaving it as it is. (I have friends who are stuck with VIP10 contract who can't change)

they can't upgrade without the consent of the account owner.

They will state CLEARLY is your name , h/p no , address .., ask you to verify bla..bla.. must answer yes... yr package will be bla bla.. do you understand.. bla bla... do you consent .. you must answer yes..then only they will proceed with upgrade anywhere from few hours to 7 workings days.

Your conversation IS RECORDED ( he/she will tell you that ) incase you deny in the future that you upgraded.
So call 100 and ask them to check and proof.

Your family member cant upgrade for you. If someone pretend to be you , well then you go argue with that person and telekom sad.gif

If they cant proof they have consent, go sue them and belanja me milo ais tongue.gif.

My UniFi 30Mbps comes with 10Mbps upload. brows.gif

K, before I'm asked by others how I got it, I have no idea and TM decided to upgrade for me in around Mid Nov. On a more optimistic thought, it could be a possibility TM will upgrade for all as well. biggrin.gif

so nice, i had received 4-5 calls offering me 30mbpps upgrade, i kept requesting for free fixed line call and 10mbps upload, but none of them are able to offer me. mad.gif

Basically you need to look for reseller, they may able to get you more goodies.
Hoping for phone calls are not likely to get, unless they have directive from their boss.

When i call 100 and ask if can get free voice pack, they say no.

Its 179 +20 if you want retain voice pack, bum me out so i refuse

I was considering terminating and apply again just for new eq since i be stuck with contract anyways, but the day i wanted to pm agent here to help me process it all, i receive call from TMC asking me if i want to upgrade from 10mb to 30mb.He offered 30mb including voice pack for 179 without me even asking for it like its the standard upgrade deal.

I accepted and upgrade.After a week or 2 i call 100 and have tech come over and change my hyypTv box to the new android set since eq is now under warranty for 1 year.

So call and talk to sales not account billing/maintenance, ask to include voice pack in upgrading.I think its the standard deal anyways for anyone thats upgrading.I think only new application are force to buy voice pack for now.

actually if the TM called the unifi subscribers (VIP5 10 and 20) to upgrade to 30 or 50, subscribers, even if want to upgrade, should not immediately jump into that offer. they need to protect their basic consumer rights because TnC must be given in black n white. orally agreed on the phone actually put the subscribers in dilemma should shit happens next time.
one more, i was made to understand that those VIP5 10 and 20 upgraded to 30 or 50 are not given new equipments i.e DECT, STB, BTU and RG. might as well terminate the VIP (if already 24 months) and re apply again because TM didnt give new equipments via upgrade....

Hmm.. why would they randomly pick ppl to offer free calls ? just dont make sense.I think some ppl who have been receiving calls are actually receiving calls from tm agents not from tmc them self.

If you receive call from tmc then free call is standard as i didnt even ask for it.

Btw my payment record is terrible, overdue every 3 months kena potong sad.gif

They dont give you new eq but your eq warranty renew for 1 year same as new eq.

Most obvious benefit to upgrade compare to re apply i think is probably you get voice pack which is actually better then old fixed line free call since now you have 600 minutes free for a month including calls to any h/p or maxis/celcom fixed line.After 600 minutes fixed to tm is still free but rest is 10 cent.I have used it for a month and now actually dont need to pay the extra rm16-rm22 that always occuring every month since family like to call h/p.

Now my bill is 179 b4 gst compare to rm199+calls(rm15-rm22) b4 gst.

Problem is new application, re apply, or upgrade by going to tmpoint or calling 100 doesnt get you free voice pack.

You only get free free pack if they call you and ask you to upgrade but i notice here on forum some ppl say they not getting free voice when ask to upgrade >? so is a lil confusing.
