Calling 100 sucks... everytime i call , they say ok wait will check , transfer call to tech on hold...20-30 minutes .. i fed up and hang up..
Today i call on Hold.. for 50 minutes ..wtf..

So i went to tmpoint today. girl said its RM199.. not RM179...?? LOL, then i ask if i can have 2 unifi since i only want to terminate after confirm 30mb works and not have downtime of no internet for 1-2 weeks..tech/installer missing la or w/e excuse, she say no only 1per house..

Is that true ? Do anyone know if its possible to apply for new 30mb while still using old 10mb in the same house.Terminate 10mb only after successful installation of the new 30mb?Have anyone tried ?

I dont want to upgrade since they refuse to change equipment since they say its working even tough hppytv box tend to hang, im using my own router, phone suck..use 20-30 minutes..it dies,

So lame i been using telekom since dial up 14.4k when i were only getting charge 10 cent PER CALL almost 20 years now. upgrade to ISDN then streamyx and then unifi.

So frustrating always get different answer, sales say this account maintenance say that, tm point say this that..now let see what lowyat says smile.gif

If you upgrade to new 30mb adv or w/e package, your contract renew for 2 years and all your equipment automatically renew warranty for 1 year.

So since you upgraded and your dect phone spoilt , they should exchange it free of charge for you, why he ask rm74 ?

That was my personal experience last week at Tmpoint when i tried to upgrade, all i have to do was fill up form( faulty product claim..or something like that dont remember form name)

but...

my hppytv box set is 1st generation 4 years old , laggy response , suka suka hang.. but since still works not consider faulty .. can't exhange lol. dect phone battery nyawa nyawa ikan .. use for abit..died.. must recharge.. consider not faulty..cant exchange lol.. router kaput.. i bought new rm2xx router...CAN EXCHANGE doh.gif as long as i give them my new router in exchange for their stock router... wtf lol ..... so i say nevermind la.. i terminate .. better.

I've been paying rm199 for 10mb no hppytv package for 4 years... now i find out ppl been paying rm179 for 10mb..rm199 with hppytv package..zzz ..here i thought everyone pay same price .. vmad.gif.Just saw a relative bill, he been paying rm169 (10mb) +RM50(mega pack).. rclxub.gif

Maybe in 1 -2 week i will apply for 30mb get all new equipment since no maxis or time in my area.. or wait till i die off old man for republic to enter malaysia.

Hmm.. TM just call..offer me 30mb + hyyptv aneka + voiceplan ( free 600 minutes call) for rm179...

Guess they must be offering this to everyone now.. since they never offered me anything for 4 years not to mention that i always never pay bill till credit limit.. kena potong then only pay lol..

Wondering if i should accept.. or terminate and get new equipment but pay extra rm20 for voice plan.

I think the means just that, you get the rm20 voice pack for free = 0 per month. Ppl who didn't get free voice pack and wants to use voice pack must pay rm20.. hence the add rm20.

Not 100% sure, so best you just call 100 , sambung to account and ask but i think thats what it means.

Best you can apply through agents here. Apply new package 1st and once new package is active terminate your old package.Process usually take 1 week .

That way you dont lose yr internet.I dont advice you terminate 1st bcoz there is a chance when you reapply.. tm will say NO ports available + you have to return BTU when you terminate which means you can be out of internet service for 1-2 weeks since termination can take 1 week.. then reapply..another week..

Depends how long you use it(just like your handphone) and battery age.They dont give warranty on battery, so as long as your phone works, you can't exchange it.

Only choice get new battery on your own or buy new phone from them for rm7x.

Hmm, they just change my old box set to the new small android hypptv box set.

It comes preinstall with browser, youtube app, play store, bla bla bla you know but when i tried to use youtube app..it can't stream or load anything , get error 401.Then i try the browser and go to youtube site, it loads but when i click play on video it say streaming error. Can't seem to watch anything on youtube.

I can how ever go to a different sites and load a video , it works.. able to stream but sucky quality as it seem to only able to stream 240p, refuse to load anything higher.

Is the box actively blocking youtube ? why even preinstall youtube app when it doesnt even work ? so confuse

Most app on playstore cant even download as it say incompatible with your device.

All and all disappointing box set, seem only for hypptv streaming.Anyone able to do anything else with it ?

I notice my upload have increase too but not as high as some at 10mb.

Its been at 6.5mb for a week now. rclxub.gif weird whistling.gif . Download seem to be able to consistently hold around 36-38mb rclxms.gif .

Hmm i have 4 nieces that are constantly watching, jumping around youtube everyday for hours on my unifi using phone and pc, never once had youtube video not load .

Only issue i notice is on rare occasion the comments doesnt load and you need to reload page few times.

Maybe if you can link it , i'll see if i have the same issue.

they can't upgrade without the consent of the account owner.

They will state CLEARLY is your name , h/p no , address .., ask you to verify bla..bla.. must answer yes... yr package will be bla bla.. do you understand.. bla bla... do you consent .. you must answer yes..then only they will proceed with upgrade anywhere from few hours to 7 workings days.

Your conversation IS RECORDED ( he/she will tell you that ) incase you deny in the future that you upgraded.
So call 100 and ask them to check and proof.

Your family member cant upgrade for you. If someone pretend to be you , well then you go argue with that person and telekom sad.gif

If they cant proof they have consent, go sue them and belanja me milo ais tongue.gif.

I was considering terminating and apply again just for new eq since i be stuck with contract anyways, but the day i wanted to pm agent here to help me process it all, i receive call from TMC asking me if i want to upgrade from 10mb to 30mb.He offered 30mb including voice pack for 179 without me even asking for it like its the standard upgrade deal.

I accepted and upgrade.After a week or 2 i call 100 and have tech come over and change my hyypTv box to the new android set since eq is now under warranty for 1 year.

So call and talk to sales not account billing/maintenance, ask to include voice pack in upgrading.I think its the standard deal anyways for anyone thats upgrading.I think only new application are force to buy voice pack for now.

If you receive call from tmc then free call is standard as i didnt even ask for it.

They dont give you new eq but your eq warranty renew for 1 year same as new eq.

Most obvious benefit to upgrade compare to re apply i think is probably you get voice pack which is actually better then old fixed line free call since now you have 600 minutes free for a month including calls to any h/p or maxis/celcom fixed line.After 600 minutes fixed to tm is still free but rest is 10 cent.I have used it for a month and now actually dont need to pay the extra rm16-rm22 that always occuring every month since family like to call h/p.

Now my bill is 179 b4 gst compare to rm199+calls(rm15-rm22) b4 gst.

Problem is new application, re apply, or upgrade by going to tmpoint or calling 100 doesnt get you free voice pack.

You only get free free pack if they call you and ask you to upgrade but i notice here on forum some ppl say they not getting free voice when ask to upgrade >? so is a lil confusing.

If you upgrade, your contract is automatically renew and your eq warranty is automatically renew for 1 year

You can call 100 or go tmpoint to confirm, but base on my experience some staff have no clue and will just say no and expect you to take what they say as final ..zzz

Say even if you dont upgrade, and your eq is out of warranty and faulty or what ever and you wish to replace, you have 3 options.

1.Replace on your own with what ever you want .
2.Purchase from them .
3.Have them replace free of charge but they will renew your contract.

Unifi 30mb is rm169 , with promo - rm20 so it will show 169-20 = 149 on yr bill b4 gst

Then you just add what ever tv pack you getting to it.You MUST choose a tv pack. Minimum is rm30.
Aneka/varnam is rm30, ruby rm40 junbo rm60. My brother in law retain his previous mega pack at rm50 .I dont think there is another other packs but i could be wrong.

So total usually is rm149+rm30 = rm 179.

Honestly no idea lol , just call tm or go tmpoint to find out.You should get it since it is till 31 dec.

Be sure to check and ask and confirm everything with other staff or 100, seriously some tmpoint staff still have no clue and will just say untrue things.

Things like warranty, or maintain phone number, or like that you can apply up to 3 unifi using same name under same house instead they say no warranty , new number, 1 person = 1 unifi , 1 house = 1 unifi, cant apply new b4 terminate old..zzz

Was very annoying experience to the brink of just wanting to terminate and apply new , tm point and 100 giving me different answers, end of the day lucky for me tmc call me with offer to upgrade and explain facts while he constantly put me on hold to double check everything and not just talk out of his XXX.

Maybe you have installation charges in it.

Call again and ask billing to load up yr bill and explain to you the breakdown of your bill.You dont receive a bill that just have 1 line and states rm29x only rite ? rclxub.gif .

Or you can post yr bill here , redact yr personal info , have ppl look at it and hopefully can explain to you.

Or you can just go down to tmpoint and ask em to explain.

I for one can't just accept " harga dia memang macam tu", no break down of any kind ? internet charge ? hppytv charge ? call charge ?.... 15 days to investigate what ? everything should be on the bill rclxub.gif

Internet is rm149 is you have promo diskaun, rm169 if you dont have promo for 30mb.

Jumbo is rm60.

So its either 149+60 = 209 or 169 + 60 = 229 b4 gst and + extra $$ if from calls if you dont have voice pack.

I was told by 100 and tmpoint if terminate only need to return BTU modem coz that is TM property.Everything else is yours to do as please.

Failure to return BTU will result in paying penalty( i forgot how much, its basically the price of a new unit) .You MUST return BTU or pay the fine to terminate, no other way around it.
