You can refer to your motherboard's manual for that.

Just for your information, to know which pin head goes to which pin, the ones with a small arrow on it indicates that that particular pin is positive. Try taking a look at the chassis's headers and you should see what I meant smile.gif.

it is very hard to go wrong if you read the motherboard and casing manual properly.

using the Gigabyte PoweRock 390w now. biggrin.gif nice PSU so far.

btw about the pins, you can't go wrong la. those LED / HDD / PW SW connectors, wrong direction also nevermind.

those other connectors - they're all made as such that if it's THE TYPE, it will fit THE SOCKET. eg if it's PSU connector, it will only fit the appropriate socket. sames goes to SATA, SATA POWER, and whatever other connector types out there. If you need to FORCE, then that's not the connector for it already. smile.gif

S12II and M12II series is in Worldwide shortage. That's why sweat.gif

anyway, the Silence 500 series,
you can get the idea how it works by refer to the Quality of PCP Silencer EPS 500. (Same built)
*
so is the silence 500 series a good buy then? PCP is reputable for the PSU also..

finnaly got my psu(cm 600 gold) but i have doubts now, before installing i noticed that on the box it says"uk type".

does this mean i have to switch the power rating or something at the back(if there is something at the back, i havent get it out of the box yet lol) so that it suits the malaysian voltage that comes in trough our power outlets?

Which 850W model of Corsair are you talking about? But anyway, Corsair power supplies are good and yes, it will support two GTX580s smile.gif.

If I'm not mistaken, the UK is also using 230V like our country. There's nothing to worry about wink.gif. The Silent Pro Gold 600W also has APFC, which automatically corrects the AC input voltage.

That is not a good PSU. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=...Story5&reid=158
Get Silverstone ST50F 500W or FSP Hexa 500W instead. smile.gif
