That is not a good PSU. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=...Story5&reid=158
Get Silverstone ST50F 500W or FSP Hexa 500W instead. smile.gif

SS Strider Plus 500W/Gigabyte Odin GT 550W/Seasonic Silence Pro/FSP Hexa. They cost RM199/RM169/RM199/RM159 respectively.

It can be gotten for RM169 from Jayacom. However, its availability might be very limited as it's a very sought after power supply due to it being modular, 80 Plus certified as well as being a very good power supply. smile.gif

The FSP Hexa 500W is better as it can supply more power on its 12V rail which is 402W ( if I remember correctly ) compared to the Gigabyte Superb 550W's 360W. In fact, the Gigabyte Superb 550W's true overall power is only 450W. smile.gif

what happened this noon was.. I went to jayacom.. ask for Odin GT, the one price 169.. instead they gave me that Superb 550P insisting that it was Odin GT. Paid 159 an hour later I realized that the PSU was not the one mentioned in this forum. Not even a true power yet they told me it is 80+ Later I went back and demand full refund. sigh....

hmm.gif. Perhaps you should have the name of any items recommended here noted down in your phone using the "notes" feature or something to prevent getting scammed in the future. But if that's really what happened to you, who knows that it might have happened to other users as well.. hmm.gif. This doesn't seem to be very good.
It's a pretty good choice, but if I'm not mistaken its cables aren't sleeved, which might be important to certain users who have aesthetics of an item on their priority list as well. smile.gif

Maybe I was too excited at that time to realized it was not the odin GT... summore they offer me rm10 less... but then I learnt my lesson... lucky for me I search for the model type while still on the road. for them to trick me like this, this will be my last time buying from them.
