Guys. I'm considering to buy a 2nd hand 408. Is it worth it getting the e-THP rather than the normal THP? My budget is below 25k though.

e-THP basically same as the THP right? Just equipped with the start stop function.

I find the interior for e-THP looks more modern.

My mileage was 182K km and FC is 10km/L too mainly on city drive. Just replaced the radiator cos of leakage.

Yes, I'm in the 408 FB group plus Lyn just to stay update with issue/problem/solution with the car.

I don't think the model is still available, unless 2nd hand. Have you tried Peugeot show room?

Or try ask at Peugeot 408 Facebook page.

Try ask Euromotive and ask next door workshop for the labour cost to change

Hi all
I bought a 2012 408 2.0 on last yrs recently my gearbox could not change gear smoothly and there's bit of jerk(then come out gearbox faulty) , I went to SC (out of warranty) to check and they told me that to change my gearbox ATF and observe its been 2 days but I still feel that the gear could not really change smoothly but better than it pop out the error msg and my fan shut down slow (running ard 4mins after engine shut off) which took longer time than before. Is it abnormal? And what possible cause of my gearbox could not change smoothly?

Wow.. That's really crazy. I hope it doesn't caused any damage.

BTW, I read this article it says maintenance free car battery less riskier to get exploded as compared to a wet type.

This is not normal for NA. Not sure if it is due to solenoid problem.

Suggest you to bring the car to Renautech at USJ for a check.
