Mobile telcos will not give us any unlimited quota at full speed anymore. They are already losing revenue from voice calls & SMS.

Maxis in particular is very expensive for all their mobile data plans, and topping up quota is so expensive today.

I guess this is a result for them giving you "unlimited" data but with speed throttle at 64kbps after your full speed quota is used up. They no longer can earn the metered charges by kilobyte.

Too bad it has quota...

I just upgraded to Unifi 30 today, and my iPad and PC connect through Wi-Fi only can reach 20mb/s but my PC that connect through cable reach 30mb/s is it my router problem?

I'm using D-Link DIR 815 (provided by Unifi since 2011)

Yes, cannot request from UniFi. smile.gif
If you have any spare old router at home, can make it as an access point.
I'm using this method as well. biggrin.gif

I'm not sure, only if you have another router to try then only can validate.
Have you informed TM regarding this?

Guys, I'm on Unifi 30 and recently Facebook and YouTube are generally crawling. Speedtest.net is ok. But that's probably because it's a local server. Anyone else experiencing this? I'd rather go back to Unifi 10 than stick with this.

I'm in the selayang / kepong area.

I just finished streaming on YouTube before typing this post, no issue. Smooth like butter on 30Mbps. hmm.gif
Edit: Start streaming another video now.

I'm very near to you, Seapark here. Seems OK so far. hmm.gif

I do admit, it is slightly slower than usual, I can get more than 30Mbps but now on IDM is around 28Mbps.

You're getting better ping on 5Ghz wifi as compared to LAN, that's quite nice...
